Confessions of a Sinner

"Jin, what are you doing here this late?" His friend Hobi asked.

He was asleep when he suddenly heard his doorbell ringing like crazy. He checked the clock and saw it was 3:30am.

He opened the door wider and let his friend walk in carrying his 1 year old baby and his 4 year old daughter was walking beside him.

She was sniffling and asking for her papa.

When Hobi looked at his friend, he looked a total wreck. His eyes were swollen and full of tears. His nose was runny and he looked like he was about to fall.

"C-can me and the kids stay here for a couple of days? Just until I figure out what to do?"

Hobi nodded his head and led them towards the empty guest room. He helped him get the children settled down until they fell asleep.

After Hobi grabbed his hand and led him out to the kitchen.

"What happened Jin? This isn't like you to be out in the middle of the night. Especially with the kids."

As soon as Hobi touched his arm in a comforting manner, he broke down. He started crying hard and held his face in his hands.

"It's over Hobes.. my marriage. He.. he told me he doesn't love me anymore."

Hobi sat shocked, not being able to believe what he heard. He was there when Jin first met Jungkook.

He saw how desperately in love they both were with each other. What could've happened?

"I don't understand Jinnie."

He waited until Jin could catch his breath, and explain.

"I was putting the kids to sleep earlier since it was 9:00. He had texted me earlier that he was going to be late but would be home by 7:00.

So when he wasn't home by almost 10pm, I was getting really worried. I called and called his phone, but he never answered.

Then on one of the times I called again, he must've grabbed it by mistake and I could hear all sorts of moans. I held the phone to my ear, and listened to them."

He dropped his head into his hands as he recounted the scene.

"I could hear my husband fucking someone and telling them how much he loved them. I heard it.. I heard him say, 'I love you baby' as the bed was creaking."

Hobi covered his mouth with his palm.

"Omg.. Jinnie.. then what happened?"

"I continued listening for a while until I couldn't anymore. So I sat in the living room, crying and decided to wait for him. He walked in a couple of hours later.

When he saw me waiting on him, he looked surprised and said, 'You didn't have to wait on me sweetheart.'

And he came to kiss my cheek but I moved away.

When he asked me what was wrong. I told him I had called him over and over. And he tried telling me he didn't hear them, and that he was busy working.

So I finally told him what I heard. Knowing it would be the end of us.

I waited for him to deny it or anything like that. But instead he sat down on the sofa next to me and confessed all his sins."

Flashback to earlier that night

"I'm sorry you had to find out that way. I wanted to tell you myself, but I could never find the right words to tell you."

"Just tell me the truth. Do you still love me?" Jin asked.
