My Sweet Alpha pt. 2

Taehyung was thrashing around, trying to get out of the security guards grasp.
His fated mate is slipping away from him and he needs to get to him.

His human side was trying to control his impulses, but his dormant Alpha wolf is very aware of the situation. And he is agitated beyond control.

A nurse and Dr. Kim Namjoon rush over to his side and the nurse administers a dose of tranquilizer into his neck. It takes a few minutes but he finally falls into unconsciousness.

Dr. Kim tells the guards to carry him back to his room. Once he was back in bed Dr. Kim advised the nurses to keep an eye on him and to let him know as soon as he wakes up.

He walks back to his office and wonders if Jin is ok. He thinks about calling him, but after witnessing how wild Taehyung was just before the shot, he decides against. And is pretty sure that Jin isn't doing too well himself.

Jungkook made it back to his house and carried an unconscious Jin inside.

He quickly made his way towards his bedroom and felt how warm he felt. So he laid him down on the bed and started to remove his clothes, hoping it would cool him down.

And once he removed his clothes, he saw how aroused Jin was so he removed his own clothes.

He leaned down to kiss him and Jin started kissing him back. But when he cried out the name "Taehyung" it was like a splash of cold water was thrown on Jungkook.

He climbed off the bed and got dressed again. He left Jin alone, writhing on the bed calling out Tae's name. So Jungkook walked out of the room and called Namjoon.

Namjoon: Hello?

Jungkook: Hey, I just brought Jin home and he's burning up. And keeps calling out for 'Taehyung.' Do you know what's going on with him? I'm starting to get worried."

On the other side of the line, Joonie was also worried. He doesn't know everything about fated mates. But he knows enough that they have to be together. Especially after they just discovered their other half. But he doesn't know how to explain it to Jin's fiancé.

"Jungkook, I do have an idea of what is going on. But you're not going to like it."

"What is it? I need to know how to make Jin better."

"Ok, but remember.. that you have to listen to what I have to say if you want Jin to get better. Otherwise it could turn bad and he could die."

"Oh God.. what is it?! I'll do anything to help him."

"Earlier Jin asked me to take over a patient because he suspected that he was his fated mate. He said that when they saw each other, their eyes changed colors and there was a change in the atmosphere.

He didn't want to risk being near him anymore since he was engaged to you. But from what I witnessed earlier, I am certain that they need to be together to mate. That's the only way for Jin to get better."

Jungkook had to sit down to take in what he just heard. It was all so jarring to think that fated mates could be a real thing and not some fairy tale.

That means if he sends his beloved fiancé to his fated mate, he could lose him forever. Cause obviously his Alpha would fight him tooth and nail to keep him away from his mate.

"Hello? JK? Are you still there?"

"Ahem... yeah.. yes, I was just thinking about what you said. So what exactly happens if they stay apart from their fated mates?"
