Choose Me

Kim Seokjin is sitting at a table with his two best friends, Jimin and Hobi. They spent all day working and after going home to get refreshed, they wanted to go eat.

So they stopped at a corner restaurant and were enjoying the rest of their evening.

"So you finally asked Yeri out huh? I thought you would grow old before making a move. What'd she say?" Jimin asks their friend Hobi.

"She said 'Yes' of course. Did you have any doubts?" Hobi replies. He is sipping on his Sprite and smiling wide.

"Are you meeting your great love later Jin?" Jimin then asks.

Jin half smiles and then says, "I don't know. He just said he would call. But as you can see, it's almost 9pm and no call."

"Jin, I really think you should cut him loose and find someone who will treat you right. Who doesn't treat you like a booty call."

"I know.. I know you're right. But I love him. I can't help how I feel."

"What Jimin's trying to say is that we're just worried about you. You keep holding on to him, hoping he will change. But all he does is keep you hanging. You are the most handsome guy we know, but your self esteem is so low. You deserve better... someone better."

Jin tears up a little, cause he knows he's right. But he just loves Taehyung so much. And if he only gets to spend a few moments with him, then he'll take them.

Jimin looks at Hobi and they both share a saddened look.

They continue eating and Hobi says he has to go when he gets a call from his father who has a flat.

Jin and Jimin then try to decide on what to do next when Jins phone suddenly beeps. He checks it and sees a text from Tae asking to meet up.

When Jimin sees the smile appear on Jins face, he knows he's on his own for the rest of the night.

"I guess you'll be leaving now." Jimin tells him as they both stand to go.

Jin nods and says, "Yeah, sorry. But Tae just texted me."

As they are walking out, Jimin bumps into a thin, blonde and knocks him into his friend standing behind him.

"Oh shit! I'm so sorry. I wasn't watching where I was going." Jimin apologizes and tries to help the guy stand.

But he pulls away, probably embarrassed and tells Jimin, "It's ok. Don't worry about it."

"Well, how about if you at least let me pay for your meal?"

Jin smiles when he realizes that Jimin was already working his magic on the guy. And it must be working cause he responds with, "Well, only if you join me."

"Uh, yeah. And your friend too." The guys friend butts in. He had been staring at Jin since he first saw him and didn't want to lose his chance.

"Oh, I'm sorry. But we just finished our meal. But, how about if I give you my number. And maybe we can plan something soon." Jimin replies.

Jin shakes his head and says, "Um, please excuse me. I am running late."

He didn't want to have anything to do with these guys. Even though they were very good looking. But his heart is being held captive. And he isn't ready for him to let go yet.

Jin tries to squeeze through the two guys and the tall, buff guy stops him and says, "Wait, can I at least know your name?"

"It's Jin.. just Jin. Please excuse me. I really am late."

Jin then rushes towards his car and drives away while Jimin stays a bit longer to chat with the two guys.
