(This should just be a short, cute, fluffy story. No angst this time ☺️)

Kim Taehyung was walking through the mall on his way to pick up his daughters dress. She is going to be the flower girl at his best friends wedding and she is excited.

She is six years old, but she is very smart for her age.

As he's about to enter the dress shop he turns to look at a man who just exited from a store next door. And he immediately froze in his spot.

The man was the exact spitting image of his late husband. The greatest love of his life.

He watches him as he walks away and sees everything about him is exactly the same. The exact same wide shoulders, tiny waist and wide hips.

The man stops when his bag fell, so he bends down to pick it up, then stands and turns to glance around. That's when Taehyung saw his face once again. And was blown away by the likeness.

If he hadn't seen his beloved husband pass away in his arms, then he would've thought this man was him.

"Excuse me sir, are you going in or out?"

A voice calling out to him distracts him from the stranger.

He sees an older woman trying to enter the store but he was still blocking the doorway.

He apologizes and quickly holds it open for her. When he turns back to look at the stranger, he is gone. He looks all over but doesn't see him, so he enters the store and tries to put it out of his mind.

Later that afternoon, he picks up his daughter from school. She comes running out of class and jumps in his arms.

He picks her up and kisses her cheek.

He then hears his name being called.

"Mr. Kim?"

He turns to see his daughters teacher, Mr. Quan walking towards them.

He is smiling wide and keeps his eyes on Taehyung. He already knows that he'll ask him to go out again.

Taehyung can't deny that he is very good looking, but he doesn't want to date anyone. He still feels the loss of his husband desperately in his soul. And the thought of being with anyone else kills him.

"Yes Mr. Quan?" He asks politely.

"Please, I have asked you repeatedly to call me Mark."

Tae forces a smile and tells him, "I am sorry, but I just don't feel comfortable calling my daughters teacher by his first name. It would be disrespectful in my eyes. Especially since we're not that close."

Mr. Quan raises his eyebrows and tells him, "Well... we could be. If you would just accept to go out with me. I know that you don't feel like you're ready. But, how will you know if you're ready if you don't even give it a try, you know?"

Tae sighs as he shifts his daughter to his other arm.

"I appreciate your concern Mr. Quan, but I know.. I am just not ready. And I would appreciate it if you would please stop being so persistent in the matter. I could just transfer my daughter to a different class if you keep insisting."

Mr. Quan shakes his head, and says, "No. That won't be necessary. I just wanted to give it once last shot. I apologize if I annoyed you. I will let you both go now. Y'all have a good weekend."

Taehyung thanks him and quickly walks away.

"Dada, what does he mean go out? Go out where?" His daughter Jinah asks.
