A/N: These are the lyrics to an old country song by George Jones. Even though this song is before my time, I still hear it occasionally. And I've always loved it. I changed the lyrics to fit two men, instead of typical male/female.
Imagine either Taehyung or Jin in either role. As two young men in love with each other in an era that their love would have been impossible. So one left the other, bowing to peer pressure and shame and marries a woman. Yet they never forgot about the other until death. Extremely short story. I may or may not write a longer one shot about this.
