Salvation pt. 2

Jin gets home from his first day at work exhausted and tells his mother all about it. But that he really likes it so far.

He tells her that he will be working with a guy named Taehyung. And how everywhere they went, everyone would stare at him.

"Oh? Is he very good looking?" She asks.

He absentmindedly replies, "Yes, very much so. But he didn't even notice them. He just went on about explaining things to me."

She smiles and says, "Maybe he's just used to it and it doesn't faze him anymore. Kinda like you."

He stops chewing on the apple he was eating and looks at her. "Like me? No one ever stares at me like that."

She laughs and says, "Ok, if you say so. I could've sworn I've seen people stop to stare when we're out and about."

"I wish.." he replies and changes the subject.

When he returns to his room, he gets on the phone with Hobi who tells him how his day went. And goes on and on about Yoongi.

"He's a rapper and told me he would teach me how to rap. He had me practice with him while we worked. It was so much fun. I told him about Joonie and how he's really good at rapping and wants to meet him."

"That's pretty cool. Maybe y'all will become famous rappers. And I can say I knew you when." Jin replies.

"Well, I don't know about me, but most definitely Joonie and Yoongi. So how'd it go with you? Was the guy who trained you nice?"

"Yeah, he was. He was explaining things a little fast at first but I told him he needed to slow it down and explain things to me as if I were 10 years old. So he did." He laughs.

"Good, you can be a little dingy sometimes." Hobi tells him

"Excuse me? I am not dingy. I am smarter than you."

"Hee-hee, ok.. ok. If you say so. So was he at least cute? Or have a good body?"

"I don't know.. I didn't really notice.."

Hobi smiles to himself on his end but doesn't say anything.

They talked for a while longer and then ended their call.

Meanwhile, at the hospital.

"Doctor, how is he doing?" Jungkook's father asked.

"He is in a coma at the moment, but I expect him to wake up at any moment. He has several scrapes and contusions but those should heal with time.

What we have to worry about is how long it takes him to wake up. The longer it takes, the longer it will take for him to recover. The only thing we can do is keep vigilant."

As Jungkook's parents are talking with the doctor, his boyfriend is standing in the corner of the room. He is shaking and scared.

He feels partially responsible for what happened to him. It was because of an argument between them that Jungkook sped off angrily and ended up crashing.

After the doctors and nurses are gone from the room, Jungkook's mother is at his side crying and pleading for him to wake up.

That's when his father turns to find Jimin walk closer to him. He asks, "Excuse me, but who are you?"

Jimin looks surprised and replies, "I.. I'm his boyfriend. Park Jimin. I'm sure he's mentioned my name before."

His parents look at each other in a confused manner and he replies, "I don't think he has.. he has never mentioned anyone that he would consider serious enough to be his boyfriend. He used to talk about a Seokjin, but he hasn't mentioned him in a while.
