Traitor

"Did you like the movie Jin?" Jimin asked his best friend.

They decided to finally get out of the house after being cooped up in Jin's room for weeks. He was heartbroken after his longtime boyfriend dumped him.

"Yeah, thanks for bringing me. It was a nice distraction from everything. I really needed it."

"I'm glad you liked it. You know it's not good being stuck inside for so long."

"I know.." Jin replies.

They are walking through the lobby to exit when they come face to face with Jin's ex-boyfriend Taehyung. He is standing next to his new girlfriend and holding her hand.

As Jin glances down at their interlocked hands, he then looks back up at Tae's face. The utter look of betrayal on Jins face causes him to immediately let go of her hand.

"H-hey Jin-ah. I.. how are you?" He asks.

The girl standing next to him looks just as guilty and is very terrified of the look Jimin is giving her.

Jin tries to keep his voice steady as he responds.

"I'm ok.. but I can see that you two are doing much better."

He then turns to the girl and tells her, "You know, I always knew there was something going on between you two. But he always tried to tell me I was paranoid.

When I introduced you to him.. I never thought that you would be the one that would squirm your way into our lives.

I really thought that you were my friend, but now I know that you only befriended me to get close to him. And for that, well I will leave that to Karma.

Because I'm a big believer in Karma. I won't wish you two well, because I am not that forgiving. You both deserve to burn in hell for the betrayal you did to me."

He then grabs Jimin's hand and starts to walk away but Taehyung calls out to him.

"I didn't betray you Jin. We didn't start dating until after we broke up. I swear." He pleads with him.

Jin stops and turns back to say, "Bullshit.. you were checked out of our relationship long before that. Every single time that you left after an argument between us and ran to her.. You cheated.. and it didn't matter if you never crossed a line at that time.

Because in reality you did..

When you chose to go to her so she could comfort you, that was a betrayal because you weren't actually thinking about me and how you could make things right with me.

You let her hold you and tell you everything was going to be ok, when in reality you were both dying to be together."

Jin looks at the girl and she knows that he is right. And she can't even look him in the eyes.

But for Tae he really hates how Jin is calling him out with the truth and he feels so guilty. He even starts to tear up.

"Please Jin, I never meant to hurt you. I really loved you."

"You never meant to hurt me? Really? But you did such a good job of it Taehyung-ah. I can only imagine how much more you could have hurt me if you really tried. Ha-ha..

But don't worry. I will get past this. And I will get over you. One day I will look back and remember the cheating asshole who taught me that cheaters come in all sizes.

Now I'm going to walk away from you forever now and never, ever give you another thought.

I am so glad to have run into you both tonight. Because it actually gives me the motivation to get on with my life and away from a plague of darkness that was lurking around."
