Dimitri POV

"So your sister is a little firecracker isn't she? Aggie said as she shut the passenger car door.

"She certainly was over excited." I chuckled, shaking my head.

Starting the car, I headed towards the Academy's gate. In the rear mirror I could still see Roza and Vika waving from the dormitory steps. Vika was pretty much the same since I last saw her in person, just older and with stupid purple blue streaked hair. It pleased me that even though I haven't seen her in person for three years, we still fall into the role of bickering siblings.

"I feel sorry for Roza." I said, with a small smile. "Knowing my sister, she is going to be to excitable for sleep later, she will be up all night talking."

"Mmmm poor Rose." Aggie smirked. "With Vika keeping her awake all night tonight and you keeping her awake last night. Well she is going to be one tired girl."

"Shut up." I mumble, rolling my eyes. A habit I've noticed I gained from Roza.

"Seriously though, you both seem very happy together." She said kindly. "It was nice to see. You just click together."

"Thank you. We do." I smile to myself.

We are very alike. We both craved action. We both wanted to be useful, to help those we cared about. Especially with one another.

Yesterday Roza demanded to come with Aggie and I on our mission. She hated the idea I was caught in the middle of this on coming battle. Luckily she brought this idea up in front of Abe and Aggie, and together we managed to convince her to return to St Basils, as long as we kept her in the loop. If she had mentioned the idea of her coming with us in private, I know she would somehow eventually convince me to bring her along with her Rose logic. That women of mine has more power over me than she knows.

I hated leaving her behind after so long apart. However, knowing that she is safer at the Academy than with me made it a little easier. That and knowing I will see her again Friday evening. Abe has arranged for his men to bring them to Mama's house for the weekend. Other of Rose's condition for returning to school.

A thrill of excitement traveled down my spine as I allowed myself to picture Rose in my home, surrounded by my family. We will be like a normally couple. A normal guy, bringing a girl home for the first time.

"I can't wait to introduce her to the rest of my family. Show her around the town I grew up in."

"Yes. I bet it will be really romantic. Just you and Rose and Claxton." She grinned evilly.

Her grin turned into a laugh as my face darkened.

"So, I'm not the only one to notice he's - umm- interest in Rose." She continued, knowing full well she was adding fuel to fire. "He is rather good looking."

Ignoring her, I stared at the open road. I never pegged myself to be a jealous man. I grew up with very little and had learnt to be appreciative of what I've got. But with Rose, all it takes is seeing another man simply look at her, and I want to rip their heads off. Fortunately, I have years and years of self control training.

"I reckon you will punch him before Rose graduates." She predicted happily.

"Anyone would think you want me to punch him?" I question back.

Aggie shrugged her shoulders. "I think he's a bit of a ass. You and Rose are clearly head over heels and he is still planning to shoot his shot."

"Shoot his shot?" He better not, otherwise I will end up punching him. Or worse.
