Rose POV

I feel rough. Like I had a three day binge drinking weekend rough, but without the alcohol. I groan into one of the many silk pillows that occupy the enormous bed I'm sleeping in.

We arrived in Novosibirsk a few hours ago and Abe sent me straight to bed to sleep off the effects of the drugs he gave me. I smirked into my pillow as I recalled my conversation with Abe about the ghosts. I explained that I have now figured a way to blocked them out when outside of wards but I was scared that they might still bother me on flights.

He immediately asked me what he could do to help with the ghosts, which I sarcastically replied with 'unless you drug me up to the eyeballs, nothing.' Well I should of guessed that a Mob boss/Con man would have access to many variables of drugs. However, I would of never of guessed that he would bring them to me on a golden platter with a leaflet listing their pros and cons. He even hired a private nurse to sit with me for the entire flight and take my vitals.

I don't remember much of the flight and I couldn't shake the feeling that Lissa came to see me just before takeoff. Try as I might, I couldn't recall the memory clearly.

Straightening out all my limbs, I let out a soft moan before climbing out of bed. Grabbing my wash bag that was sitting on top of my suitcase, I wondered into the ensuite.

Emerging from the ensuite, freshly showered and wrapped in the softest white towel, I sat myself down in front of the overly grand vanity table. I took my time in brushing and drying my hair, until the natural pretty curls hung softly over my chest. Applying some make-up, using a little more foundation than I usually do to cover the jet lag bags under my eyes, I was rather pleased with the overall result.

Completing my look, I dressed in a letter printed white t-shirt with camo printed joggers and white nike trainers. Giving myself a approving grin in the mirror, a skipped out of my room to go and hunt down Abe. And Food.

"Good morning Novice Hathaway-Mazur." One of Abe's Guardians kindly smiled, as I walked into the huge Lounge. Abe had rented out the Penthouse suite in the hotel and it was honestly like a mansion in its own right. "Your father is just feeding. Would you like me to order you some breakfast?"

"Please, Guardian...?"

"Claxton, Micheal Claxton." He introduced himself with a bow.

"Well, I don't think anyone has ever bowed to me." I chuckled.

"You're the daughter of the boss man, I would get used to it." He replied, with a hint of a smirk.

I liked him for some reason, he seemed familiar but I couldn't quite put my finger on why. He was tall 6ft3ish with a lean build, dark blue eyes and floppy red hair. Oh God! He looks like Mason but ten years older.

"Ummm are you ok?" Claxton asked looking a bit weirded out from my starring.

"Oh yes sorry! You look just like someone I used to know." I muttered as my face grow hot with my blush. "He died a few months ago and it's just weird how much you look like him."

"I'm sorry for your loss." He offered. "If looking at me is upsetting, I can swap with another Mazur Guardian."

"No, no. It's fine." I was desperately trying to end this conversation when Abe bounced into the room, with Pavel two paces behind him.

"Darling!" He boomed pulling me into a tight hug. "You are looking more alive this morning!"

"Gee. Thanks." I laugh rolling my eyes. "At least I wasn't wearing a peach suit." I added, pointing at the monstrosity Abe was wearing.
