Dimitri POV

I can feel Aggie and Stan's eyes burning into the back of my head, as I unravel my interrogation tool wrap. This is the first and hopefully the last time I will have to use it.

"Do you know how to use all of that?" Dora asked perturbed, standing on the opposite side of the table.

"I do." I replied, not looking up at her.

"Have you done this before?" She asked, trying to hide the disgust in her voice.

"No I haven't." I answered, quickly glancing over my shoulder at Aggie and Stan, who are standing guard over Godwin. "Integration and information extraction skills are needed to obtain a Blood Master 7 grading. I had to attend a 3 day workshop to obtain the skills to past my grading."

"I wasn't aware of that." She whispered.

"Not many are." I stiffly replied. "Are you sure you want to be here? I would be much more comfortable for you to wait outside."

"No, I am part of the team. I want to be here and not be hidden away like some scared Moroi whimp." She declared, her eyes shinning, challenging me to disagree with her.

"Fine, but you will have to do what I say, exactly when I say it." I growled back, unhappy with the outcome.

It seems unnatural to have a Royal Moroi in a room with a Strigoi, let alone while I was interrogating one. Looking back over to Godwin, I assessed his restraints. He was chained at each wrist and ankle and had a charmed silver net draped over his waist. Finally the wooden stake was still thrust deep within his chest, with Aggie's foot keeping it in place.

Turning back to my tools, I selected; a sliver butcher knife, two sliver stakes, two metal rods with connecting wires and the battery pack that was on the floor by my feet.

Gathering my selected items, I led them out on the floor, directly to the left hand side of Godwin's head. If he turned his head to the left, the first item he would see will be the butcher knife. Walking around his body I took up my position by his feet, while Aggie and Stan stood by his shoulders.

"Put your back against the wall, Dora." I ordered in a Alpha tone. Once Dora was leant up against the wall by the door, I turned to address Aggie and Stan. "Plan A, Aggie will remove the stake and I will start the I interrogation. If he needs further encouragement, Stan and I will swap sides. Once we have gathered all the information we can, Croft has ordered  the threat to be immediatly neutralized. Therefore, Stan will stake the Strigoi on my order. Agreed?"

"Agreed." Aggie and Stan answered in harmony.

"Plan B, if for any reason I am unable to perform my duties, the next highest ranking Guardian, Aggie, shall take over. Agreed?"

"Agreed."

"Plan C. If the Strigoi breaks free of his restraints, the closest guardian is required to eliminate the threat. Agreed?"

"Agreed."  They replied.

"Then, we shall proceed." I stated, taking in a large breath to psych myself up, as I pulled my Guardian mask tighly in place. "Ok, Aggie when you are ready, remove the stake."

"Stakes out boys." Aggie joked, as she pulled out her own stake.

She removed her foot and crouched down next to Godwin. She looked up to meet Stan's eyes before turning to meet mine. After receiving my swift nod, she placed one hand on the wooden stake and pulled it free from Godwin's chest.

The three of us stood transfixed, as the huge gaping hole in Godwin's chest slowly started to heal over. A few seconds later, any traces of a wound was gone and his whole body demeanor had changed. He kept very still and had his eyes closed, but I could tell he was wake, trying to assess his situation.
