Rose POV

I ache everywhere. Opening my eyes, I was confused to find complete darkness. Trying to sit up, my head connected with something cold and hard a few inches away from my face. What the? Reaching out all my limbs, I felt hard surfaces all around me. Where am I? Why am I in a box?

"Hello?" I called out, with silence being my only answer.

Running my hands across the smooth surface above me, I searched for a latch or a handle. Nothing.

Bringing my hands down to the sides, my fingers met silk linings. I moved my head to the side, in a pointless attempt to look at my hand. I felt a silk pillow rub against my face.

"WHAT. THE. FUCK. IS. GOING. ON!" I shouted, punching at the surface above me with each word.

CRUNCH!

"FUUUUUUCK!" I screamed, my fist is now throbbing.

Calm it down Hathaway. Screaming and breaking bones isn't going to get me anywhere. Taking long deep breaths, I counted to ten. Think!

Despite being in complete darkness, I closed my eyes, in the hope it will help me focus. I mentally conducted a survey of my body, checking for injuries. Apart from a pounding headache and feeling cold, I seem to be uninjured. Rubbing my thighs together, I found that I was wearing a dress and had a blanket tucked around me.

The top of the blanket was tucked around my waist, fingering the edge, I felt a fluffy woollen pattern. Opening my eyes, I pointlessly willed to them to see anything. Lifting my hips, I pulled the blanket free and brought it to my face.

My body stiffened when I caught a slight famillar scent on the blanket. Gripping it with both hands, I rammed the blanket under my nose and inhaled deeply. The scent was manly and strangly comforting. Dimitri.

"My Comrade." I whispered into darkness.

As soon as the words had left my lips, my memories came rushing back to me. Everything from the caves to Lissa sending a burst of spirit into ghost me, in her bedroom.

"Oh crap! I'm in a coffin!!!" I moaned to myself, trying not to freak out again. "Please don't be buried, please please!"

I knocked on the lid, hoping to hear a hollow echo, and groaned when I heard a dense reverberation. Crap!

'Gather as much information you can before you act.' Alberta's voice said in my head, taking me back to the basic survival skills classes she had taught.

The best source of information would be Lissa. Closing my eyes and crossing my fingers, I forced my mind into Lissa's.

"You look hot Liss! Like a real life Daenerys Targaryen !" I heard myself say, as Lissa looked into the mirror.

"And you look like a Bad Ass Katniss Everdeen." Lissa laughed as she looked up and down at my tight leather costume.

Pulling myself from Lissa's dream, I smiled. She was dreaming about our first Halloween party on the run. It was a amazing night, as it was the first time we had let ourselves have fun.

I had learnt two things. First the bond was working again. Second Lissa is asleep, so it must be day time. Both pieces of information being useless to me at the moment.

I wiggled in my coffin, ugh, and could feel objects tucked between my leg and the silk cover wall. Reaching my arm as far down as I could, I hissed in frustrated when I realised my reach wasn't quite long enough. Crossing my feet, my left foot under my right, I bent my left knee sideways and shimmied my left leg up until my shin was under my right knee. With my left foot, I push the items up until I can reach them with my right hand. Straightening myself up, I pulled the items onto my stomach.
