Dimitri POV

I can't shake off the feeling that we are being watched. I have felt like this since returning to the motel after disposing of Godwin body.

"You are being paranoid." Dora grumbled, warming up her A+ blood bag in the microwave. She was irritable because I wouldn't let her sleep until I knew there was no threat.

Stan, Aggie and I all shared a look. As a Guardian you learn to trust your instincts and mine are screaming that someone is watching us. which is why we all sat in the kitchen at with the lights turned off.

"I did a sweep on the building and found no traces of Strigoi, Moroi or Dhampir." Stan said. "How sure are you?"

"I'm not, but everything is telling me that we should leave. Immediately." I answered, ignoring Dora's unhappy sigh.

"I don't want to sound like a bitch." Dora started. "You have just interrogated someone to death for the first time. That's got to have an emotional effect on you. Have you considered that this 'feeling' might be a little PTSD?"

"Dora!" Aggie gasped in shock and outrage.

"I said I wasn't trying to be a bitch. But it was brutal!" Dora defended. "I just don't want what happen to cloud his judgement."

"Well I would rather make the mistake of moving us for no reason than to make the bigger mistake of getting us killed because I ignored my gut feeling." I rumbled, pushing down my anger.

"I agree with Belikov." Stan volunteered. "He is one of the best in the business. If he thinks we need to leave, then we leave."

"Agreed." Aggie said, giving Dora a pointed look.

"When we shall leave." Dora sighed. "Where shall we go? Our flight isn't for another 29 hours."

"Makes sense to book into another hotel near the airport." Stan directed at me, which I agreed and nodded in approval.

"Ooh! Let's stay in at The George. I love it there." Dora squealed with happiness. "My treat." She added seeing our hesitant glances to one another and correctly interpreting that we don't have the budget for it.

Being veteran Guardians, Stan, Aggie and I were always ready to leave a location at the drop of a hat. The same could not be said for Moroi, especially Royal Moroi. Looking at Dora sucking on her blood bag I appreciated that she will not be ready to leave within the hour.

"How long until you are ready to go?" I asked Aggie, but really meaning when will Dora be ready.

"Umm a hour and a half." She replied with a little shrug.

"I should be ready by then too." Dora added, blissfully unaware of the second conversation we were having.

"Great. I will take a shower and then bring the car around." I openly inform the room.

Three hour later, I have just finished checking out and was packing the car with a single duffle bag for each Guardian and Dora's two large suitcases.

"Ladies, why don't you both get comfortable in the back? I'll drive and Belikov can second." Stan offered, swiping the keys from my hand before I could refuse his offer.

"Sounds good to me." Aggie grinned. "I don't mind catching up on my beauty sleep." She giggled ushering Dora into the car.

The journey to The George was an uneventful one. Aggie and Dora slumbered in the back while Stan drove condemned me to listen to some God awful rock music.

My mind kept wondering back to went I drove Rose to her qualifier. She constantly complained about being subjected to being locked in a car with bad music. I now completely understand where she was coming from. It's torture.
