Mirae's POV
The first week was pretty horrific as I had to deal with the wrestlers. But as the days passed by I was able to control them.
And I got my first pay too. They pay a pretty decent amount. At least dealing with the wrestlers was worth the money.
But today was a little different from other days. Today San had to go to a party held by Mr. Kim Joohyun, the CEO of the famous company, Star Entertainment.
So now I was waiting for San near the car in the parking lot. I checked the time in my phone.
"When is he going to come?"
Just then I heard some footsteps nearing me. I looked up and saw San coming towards me. He wore a well fitted black tuxedo, his hair neatly up with exposed forehead.
For a while, I just kept staring at him in awe. He looked more than handsome today.
When did he get this handsome?...
I was still lost in thoughts when he snapped his fingers in front of my face.
"What are you thinking?" he said.
"Huh?... It's nothing. Let's get going."
I opened the passenger seat's door and let him in first. Then I went to the driver's seat and drove him to the venue.

I was walking behind him as he lead the way inside the hotel. The hotel was a huge one and accomodated with many people.
I was still looking around while walking when my head bumped into San's back.
"Ah!..." I stumbled back.
"What are you doing?"
"I'm sorry."
"Walk beside me." I quickly nodded and did as he said.
On our way, he greeted some people and talked with them a little while I just politely bowed to each of them.
"Choi San?" We heard someone say and turned back to see who it was.
It was a guy who looked around San's age standing there in a black tuxedo. He came and stood in front of us with two other men behind him.
"It's been a while, isn't it?" he said but San didn't seem to be interested in replying him back.
"What do you want now?" San simply said.
"Ayy... You haven't changed at all. Some small changes are always good. Don't you agree?"
San smirked. "It's better to stay like that than to change and become a totally different person. Don't you agree?"
"You're right... I heard your recent comeback made a pretty good rise in sales. And your popularity has also increased."
"Why?... Are you jealous?"
He just smirked and then his gaze landed on me. "Who's this pretty lady beside you?"
"I'm Mr. Choi's bodyguard. Nice to meet you sir." I bowed to him.
"I'm Lee Hyunwoo, San's colleague." He held out his hand for me to shake.
I was going to shake hands with him but San grabbed my wrist and gently pulled me behind him.
"If you're done with your introduction, we'll get going." By saying that, San dragged me away with him.
"You shouldn't have just walked away from there like that," I said when we were some distance away from that place.
"I just didn't want to talk to him."
"And why?..."
"He– ...Just know that he's not a good person."
"Is that so?"
"Yeah..." He sighed.
"You can let go of my wrist now."
He didn't even realise that he was still holding my wrist. He quickly let go of it and cleared his throat.
"You can go and eat something there." He pointed to a large table where a lot of food was kept.
"Thanxx. I was hungry anyways." I went to the place happily.
I looked at the large variety of foods in awe. "They look so delicious..." I tried to calm myself down as San would be embarrassed to see me like that.
"What should I eat first?"
I grabbed a plate and started stuffing it with food. I was walking towards an empty table when someone bumped into me. And as a result, I dropped the plate.
She gasped, looking at her dress. She got a stain on her dress because of me dropping the plate.
"I'm sorry..." I quickly grabbed some tissues and tried to wipe it. But it was of now use. "Ah, what do I do?..."
"It's okay," she said with a slight smile. "I'll just change it."
"I'm really sorry about it... I'm sorry." I bowed to her a little and she walked away.
I feel bad for ruining her dress...
Then my gaze landed on my blazer. I didn't realise that the food left a stain on my blazer too.
"I need to wash it quickly." I rushed to the restroom to wash it. "...I'll wash it properly at home."
I grabbed some more tissue before walking out of the restroom, drying my blazer with the tissues.
"Choi San is still a jerk as before." I heard a familiar voice and tried to find the source of it.
After looking around for a while, I saw Lee Hyunwoo standing some distance away from me, talking on his phone. I hid behind a wall and tried to overhear him.
"He's still unaffected by what I did to him two years ago."
What is he talking about?
"Mr. Jung, what should I do to him now? Is there anything to make people hate him?"
What the hell is he planning to do to San?
I was still listening to him when my phone started ringing. I forgot to put it in vibrate mode. "Why does it have to be now?..." I mentally cursed myself for it.
"Who's there?"
Shit!
To be continued...
