Nari's POV
—Flashback—
"Nari-ah!"
I heard a familiar voice and turned back to face him, smiling.
"You're here?"
He quickly hugged me. "I missed you so much," Doyoung said.
"Me too." I pulled back after a while. "When did you come?"
"I came here as soon as my shoot ended. You must be tired with your tight schedules."
"Just a little..." He then pecked my lips. "What was it?~" I lightly hit him, blushing.
It's been a while since me and Doyoung started dating. We did a drama together and fell in love with each other, eventually. And we kept our relationship private, of course.
At first, I was so grateful for his unconditional love. I was infatuated in love and I even dressed up just to look flawless for him all the time.
Although we didn't do anything special, I was happy to be with him. And I thought that if I tried harder, our relationship would last for a long time.

Today Doyoung took me out for a date. We were now at a restaurant, enjoying our lunch together.
"I need to use the restroom," he said. "I'll be right back." I nodded and he went away.
I was just looking around when I heard a phone vibrate. It was Doyoung's. I picked it up to see who was calling.
Oh Yeonah?...
"Who is she?..."
Soon the call ended and I saw many text notifications from other girls on his phone.
"Sorry for making you wait." I heard Doyoung say so I quickly kept his phone back on the table.
"It's okay," I said, smiling. But from inside, I felt a little weird.
It was since then, I couldn't get in touch with him. If I didn't text him first, sometimes he wouldn't text me all day long. And if he did, he would anwer 'I'll text you later'.

"He must be busy with his schedules." I sighed for the nth time, looking at my phone.
"What are you doing here alone?" I looked up and saw San coming towards me.
We were now at a hotel. My parents invited him over for a family dinner.
"I just wanted some fresh air."
"Something's wrong... Did you fight with your boyfriend?"
"No... It's just he isn't texting me back. If I get mad, he'll think I'm a narrow minded person, right?"
"Just talk to him. Tell him to text back."
"What if he thinks I'm too clingy? And doesn't like me anymore?"
"You worry too much... Isn't it obvious that you miss him and want to hear his voice if you love him? Why do you worry about that?"
I let out a deep sigh. "I really don't know... What should I do?"
"Talk it out. If you don't, there will be misunderstandings."
"Is that so?"
"Come back when you're done." I nodded and he left.
So I thought to call Doyoung and talk it out. He picked it up after a few rings.
"Hello?"
"Uh, Nari..."
"Doyoung-ah, can we meet up? I've something to say."
"Ah... I can't today."
"Ah, are you busy today too?"
"Yeah, sorry. I'll call you back later."
"Okay..." He ended the call.
I really wanted to tell him today...
I sighed and walked back to my parents. I was still on my way when I saw someone familiar coming towards me with a girl.
Doyoung?...
At first, I thought it would be a look-alike of him but later on I realised that it was really him. I felt my heart breaking into pieces on seeing his arms wrapped around that girl's shoulders.
Just then Doyoung's gaze landed on me. He looked as if he got caught red-handed. He whispered something to her and came to me.
"What are you doing here?" I said.
"Nari-ah... It isn't what you're thinking it would be?" he said.
"Then what is it?"
"Nari, stop arguing here and let's talk somewhere else." He was about to grab my wrist but I slapped his hand away. "Are you seriously gonna argue in public?"
"In public?... And how about what I feel?" I tried to hold back my tears. "I thought you were busy so I always wondered... 'Won't he be tired?'... 'Did he eat?'... Honestly, I was so nervous but I held on to it for you."
"It's really annoying when you do that. Is it a big deal to not text you back? I'm sick and tired of it."
"What?..." A tear managed to slip out of my eyes. "Then why did you date me in the first place?"
"I thought you would be my type but I was wrong..." He sighed. "Okay, let's break up! I don't think you would want to see me again."
He was about to walk away but turned back to face me. "And with this attitude of yours, I don't think anyone would like to date you."
I just looked down, tears rolling down my cheeks. I was completely broken. I wasn't able to think what to do next. He was my first love and I really loved him so much.
I was still sobbing when someone grabbed my wrist and turned me to face him. I looked up, just to realise it was San.
"Kim Nari... Let's date!" he said.
To be continued...
