I exited the car and closed the door. I was now at the parking lot of San's apartment. I was about to walk inside when I got a text. It was Seonghwa oppa.

Nothing much... I tried to ask him indirectly but he was clever enough to turn them down

I pressed the elevator button and soon reached the floor. I walked inside, closing the door behind me. I went to the living room, dragging me feet.
"You're back?" San said who was now sitting on the couch. I went and sat beside him. "Where did you go?"
"Just nearby... What are you doing?" I tried to change the topic.
"I was working on a song."
"Can I see?"
"Sure."
I scooted near him to read the lyrics. "Woah!..." I covered my mouth. "You write so well."
He rubbed the back of his neck. "It's just a rough draft."
"It's already amazing!"

"I didn't know you write so well," I said, going through the lyrics again.

"I like this part. How did you think about it?" I was still surprised.
"I just got inspiration from somewhere."
"From where?"
He softly chuckled and leaned towards me. So now his face was right in front of mine, just a few inches away.
"What do you think?" He smiled, showing his dimples.
"Huh?" I blinked twice as he kept looking at me in the eyes. "I-I think Byeol is hungry. I'll go feed her."
I quickly rushed to the kitchen and hid behind the wall. I let out the breath which I didn't know was holding back.
"My heart was going to explode then."
I tried to calm myself down and searched for the cat food to give Byeol. And luckily Byeol was hungry. So I got through it.

I walked out of my room, yawning. I was thirsty so I went to the kitchen to drink some water. I was going back to my room when I saw San sleeping on the couch.
I softly chuckled. "He slept while working on the song." I went to him.
I carefully made him lay down on the couch, keeping a pillow under his head. I kept the pen on the table which he was holding and covered him with a blanket.
I crouched down in front of him and admired his face for a while, tilting my head.
"Why are you so handsome?... It makes my heart flutter."
He was asleep so he probably didn't hear it. I stood up and was about to go when my gaze landed on the sheets of paper on the table; the sheets on which he was writing the lyrics.

"First, you have to gain Lee Hyunwoo's trust," Seonghwa oppa said.
—End of flashback—

San's POV
"Why are you so handsome?... It makes my heart flutter." I heard Mirae say.
I wasn't fully asleep. I just pretended to be. I felt the warmth of the blanket which she covered me with and smiled after I heard a door being closed.

[The next day...]
I was in the living room, eyes fixed on the phone screen. I was making a reservation in a nice restaurant. Just then I saw Mirae walking out of her room, yawning. I went to her.
"You woke up?" I said, smiling.
"Yeah..." She looked at me in confusion. "Why are you all dressed up today? Do you have somewhere to go?"
"Hm. And you're also coming with me."
"As far as I remember, you don't have anywhere to go today."
"Don't waste time and go get ready." I pushed her towards her room.
"But why? Where are we going?"
"You'll know eventually. Just get ready quickly." I closed the door of her room. "And dress prettily."
"Okay." I heard her shout from inside.
Today I'm finally going to tell her how I feel about her... Hope everything goes as planned.
