Mirae's POV
And here I am, buying food for him. "I literally ran all the way to the company. And he just..."
—Flashback—
"...Have you done your breakfast?" he said.
"What?" I looked at him in confusion.
"I too haven't. Go and buy me something delicious."
"Why would I?"
"You're my bodyguard."
"I'm you bodyguard not a babysitter."
"Do you want to get fired?"
I wanted to just punch him in the face but tried to control myself from doing that.
I put on a fake smile. "I'll go and buy it right now, sir." By saying that, I walked out of the room.
—End of flashback—
I sighed. "I didn't sign up for this..."
"Here you go," the lady said, handing me the bag of food.
"Thank you."
I went back to the company and to the dance studio just to see him lying on the floor, panting. Maybe he was practicing while I was out.
"Food's here," I said.
He quickly sat up on the floor on hearing the word 'food'. I too sat down opposite to him.
"What did you bring?" he asked.
"Kimbap and cheese tteokbokki. Some macarons too."
I opened the container and passed him his chopsticks. I bought food for myself as I was hungry too.
He quickly started eating without uttering a word. He was eating so quickly as if he didn't eat for days.
"Eat slowly or else you'll have indigestion."
He ignored my words and kept eating like that. But he was eating well. I chuckled at him when he stuffed his mouth like a hamster.
Cute...

"I'm full," I said keeping the container on the floor.
"Me too... Now I want to drink some coke."
He stood up and went out of the room and came back with two cans of coke in his hands. He might have brought it from the fridge that was outside the dance studio.
He handed me one can and sat beside me. "Thanks," I said.
"Open it for me."
"What?"
"Open it for me."
I thought he brought it for me. I opened the can before passing it to him. I was a fool to think that.
What did I even expect from him?
"Since you're done with breakfast... I'll get going now."
I cleaned up the place and was half-way standing up when he pulled me down by grabbing my blazer.
"You can't leave now."
"Why not now?"
"You're my bodyguard. You should always stay with me."
"But we aren't going anywhere."
"Still... You should stay here with me." I sighed.
What does he want now?
"Go and deliver those boxes to Jiwoo noona." He pointed to the two big boxes resting at the corner of the room. "She came to take those but I told that you'll deliver it to her."
"What?!"
He must really be kidding now.
"Go quickly, she must be waiting for it. It'd would be a good workout for you though." He stood up.
"Why me?... I don't want to," I whined.
"No, stand up." He pulled me up and pushed me towards the boxes. "Go!"
I grabbed the boxes and tried to pretend as if they're very heavy for me to lift.
"Aigoo, it's so heavy. I can't lift it." I tried to my best at acting.
"Those aren't that heavy. Don't try to act weak in front of me. It's of no use."
How can he not get fooled by it?
"Now go quickly or else I'll fire you."
"Okay. I'm going."
If it wasn't for money, I would have easily knocked him down till now.
I picked those up and made my way out of the room. I wasn't able to look to the front as one of the boxes had blocked my view.
I was still struggling to walk when someone removed the box which was blocking my view.
"Seonghwa-ssi?" I was a little surprised to see him.
"So you know my name..." He smiled. "Let me help you with this."
"Ah, thank you."
We started walking side by side, holding one box each.
"Where were you going with these boxes?" he asked, still walking.
"Ah, I was going to deliver these to Jiwoo unnie."
"But noona isn't here now. She went out for some work."
"Is that so?..." I paused in my steps. "Then what do I do with these?"
"We can keep them in the office."
"Okay... We should do that then."
He then lead me to that office. We headed out of the room after keeping those boxes.
"Thank you so much. It was really difficult for me to carry it alone."
"Don't mention it." He shyly smiled.
He's so cute...
"Ah right!... I didn't ask your name," he said.
"It's Kang Mirae."
"You have a pretty name, Mirae-ssi."
"Thank you..." I blushed.
"How's you experience, working here as a bodyguard?"
"Well, it was... What should I say?... Horrific?"
I got goosebumps just by recalling about the wrestlers. He laughed a bit on hearing that.
"You'll get used to it, eventually."
"Hope so..."
"But San didn't have any schedules today. Then you...?"
"Ah! He fooled me by telling that he has a schedule which was planned at the last moment. But in reality there wasn't any. He just called me to run errands for him."
He giggled. "He did that?"
"Yeah..."
"Kang Mirae-ssi!"
Speak of the devil...
