I tried to calm myself down before answering him. "No reason." He shrugged it off and looked back at his phone. "San will be here soon." I just nodded.
Now it's not only San's revenge but mine too. I'll not live him live freely like this. He needs to be put behind the bars.

San's POV
I was sitting on the couch, tapping my foot continuously when I got a text from Hyunwoo.
Long time no see, Choi San
What made you contact me out of the blue?
Your girlfriend is with me If you want her to be safe then come to this location
And don't even think of calling the cops or else you won't be able to see her alive
I'll go there but don't do anything to Mirae
Okay, I'll be waiting
I let out a heavy sigh and kept the phone back on the table. "It's good he doesn't know that I already know about it."
"YAH, CHOI SAN!"
I lifted my head up and saw Seonghwa hyung intruding into my house.
"Hyung?" I stood up.
He stopped in front of me, looking all worried. "Do you even know what Mirae is going to do?"
"I know."
"What? You already know?" I nodded. "But then also you didn't stop her?... You know Lee Hyunwoo very well but still you sent Mirae to him. Are you crazy?!"
I slightly sighed, not telling anything. "I can't sit quietly like this. I'm going to tell your manager-nim and PD-nim about it."
He was about to walk away when I stopped him. "You don't need to do that. I've already contacted them." He turned back to face me. "I told about it to Daeyeol-ssi too."
"You planned everything?"
I nodded. "And we have two of our people with Hyunwoo."
"Two?... Mirae is one, then who's the other one?" He was left in confusion.

"He warned me not to call the cops," I said.
"Then what can we do?" Seonghwa hyung said.
"I'll go there with Seungwoo-ssi and the other bodyguards. We'll try to make the situation under control and then call the cops."
"But it's very risky."
"We have to take that risk."
"I'll stay at the company and send more guards if needed." I nodded.
"I need to get going now."
"Be careful." I gave him an assuring look and headed out of the house. I took my car to go to the destination.

I turned on the voice watch which Jiwoo noona gave me to communicate with each other.
"It's Choi San, can you hear me? Over."
"Yes, we can hear you clearly. Over."
Jiwoo noona and the other guards were some distance away from the hideout. They decided to take care of the guards who were guarding the hideout from outside.
"I'm going to head inside. Over."
I exited the car and headed towards the hideout. One of the guards lead me to a room. When I went inside, I saw Hyunwoo standing in the middle with two guards behind him.
He smirked when he saw me coming. "You came?"
"Where is Mirae?"
"What's the rush? We can talk it out slowly." He folded his hands. "Let's make a deal."
"What deal?"
"I'll give her back only on one condition."
"What is it?"
"Give up your career."
"Why should I?"
He scoffed. "Then I don't have any other option than to kill you."
"You'll soon be behind the bars if you do that."
"You don't need to think about that. I can take care of it. Cause I'll not kill you."
"What do you mean?"
"You'll be killed by the person you love so much. Don't you want to see who it is?"
Just then Mirae entered the scene with a gun in her hand. She came and stood beside Hyunwoo.
"The one who will kill you will be Kang Mirae." I noticed her trembling hand while she held the gun.
