Mirae's POV
The next morning, I went to the company as usual. Today we had a pretty tight schedule. We had to go to five places as San had a comeback recently.
Jihoon-ssi, his manager, drove us to the place. But this time, I went in the same van as San. He sat on the front row and I sat at the back with a staff member.
San just had his airpods plugged into his ears all the way. The whole way way was quiet boring so I thought to play with my phone.
Soon we reached the place. I quickly jumped out of the van and went towards the entrance. As always, there was a huge crowd waiting for him at that place.
This time I tried my best to protect him from the wrestlers. And I did better than last time. I let out sigh of relief when we reached the waiting room.
First it was a rehearsal so I went to the backstage to monitor it. He bowed to all the people on his way to the stage talked a little to them before taking his position.
The music played and he started his performance. I was a little surprised at first as he was really good at singing as well as dancing. It was really impressive.
That's why people always get impressed by him...
After finishing his performance, he came back to the backstage, panting hard. He stood beside me and monitored his performance while his makeup artists did their job.
"How was it?" he suddenly asked me.
"Uh?... It was good."
"Only good?"
"Hm." I nodded.
"Then I have to put more energy into it."
After a while, he was ready for the final recording. I was still there, standing at a corner and watching the staff members do their job.
It was announced for San to go on the stage for the final performance. Loud screams from the audience were heard when his name was announced.
"Mirae-ssi..." I turned to my right to see San standing beside me.
"Aren't you going?"
"I'll do my best this time." He ruffled my hair. "Watch me." He smiled at me before walking to the stage.
I was all flustered when he did that. "What was that?..." I combed my hair with my fingers.
I made my way to the monitoring screen and watched his performance there. And this time, as he said earlier, he did his best. I was really impressed then.
Soon he came back, still panting hard. "How was it this time?" he asked.
I chuckled. "You did great!" I patted his shoulder.
"Really?"
"Yeah." I nodded. He smiled, feeling satisfied.
"San, it's already the third mic you broke this year," a staff member said. He just sheepishly giggled.
This guy...

We were now at our second venue. We still had enough time before the performance and it was already lunch time so we all were doing our lunch.
I was peacefully eating from my tray, sitting alone at a corner of the couch when San came and sat beside me.
"Why are you eating alone?" he said.
I swallowed the food before speaking. "No reason."
Then he passed me some pieces of pork cutlet on my tray. "Have some more."
I furrowed my eyebrows. "Did you eat something weird in breakfast? You've been behaving a little weird today."
"Just eat up." He shut my mouth by stuffing a piece of prok cutlet in my mouth.
What's with him?...
After having the delicious lunch, two of the staff members brought ice cream for all of us.
San rushed to them on hearing the word 'ice-cream'. "I'll take these," he said and came back to me with two cups of mint choco ice cream in his hands.
He handed me one, sitting beside me. He quickly opened his and started eating, after licking the lid. I just sat there, feeling a little bored.
"Aren't you going to eat that?" he asked.
"I won't get fooled this time... Last time I thought you brought the coke for me but you just asked me to open it." I held the cup of ice cream in front of him. "And you'll eat this one too, isn't it?"
He laughed a bit. "You're so naive, aren't you?" I looked at him in confusion. "It's for you."
"Really?"
"Yeah. Now eat up before it melts."
I giggled and started eating. It felt so refreshing. But him being all nice to me lately kept bugging me.
To be continued...
