San's POV
I was walking to the van with manager-nim when I saw Mirae talking with a guy, smiling.
Why is she smiling like that to him?
I cleared my throat, making the both of them look at me.
"Hello, Choi San-ssi," that guy quickly said, bowing a little.
"He's Bong Jaehyun-ssi, our new bodyguard," manager-nim said. "He'll also be there along with Seungwoo-ssi."
I just nodded and passed between the two of them to get to the van.

Mirae's POV
"It's a little tiring, isn't it?" Jaehyun whispered. "Just to stand and watch around."
We were now at the shooting room of a variety show where San was invited. The shooting was going on and we were standing behind the cameras.
"A little," I whispered back.
"But it's much much better than those part time jobs."
I giggled. "You're right though... There aren't any rude customers now."
"Exactly!... But isn't San-ssi a little unpredictable? I was a little confused at our first meeting."
I looked at San who was now talking with the anchors of that show with a smile on his face; the smile which can melt anyone's heart.
A smile instantly crept up on my face. "He indeed is unpredictable at times."
I don't know how but he sometimes makes my heart flutter...

"Ah, I'm so tired!..." San said, plopping on the couch.
We were now back at his apartment after two more shoots. I massaged my shoulders as they got stiff by standing still for a long time.
I heard my stomach grumble. "And hungry too..." I mumbled to myself.
"Aren't you hungry?" he suddenly asked. "I'm dying out of hunger."
"To be honest, me too."
"Should I order something again?"
"No!" He looked at me in confusion. "I have an idea."
"What is it?"
"Just wait and watch." I smirked.

San's POV
"Do you even know how to cook?" I said. We were now in the kitchen.
"Of course!...Why? Are you doubting my skills?" Mirae said, putting on the apron.
"I was just..."
"Whatever... Just wait and see how good I cook. There are a lot of cooking videos that would help me... How do I tie this?"
She was still struggling to wear the apron. "Let me do it." I took a step closer to her and wrapped the apron around her waist.
I exchanged the apron strings behind her back and pulled them to the front, making her stumble towards me.
A small gasp left her mouth as we stood still in that position. Our faces were just a few centimetres away from each other's.
She too didn't say anything and kept looking into my eyes. I wanted to stay like that for some more time but she quickly moved aside.
"I-I can tie it now," she said, pulling the strings away from my hand. She wasn't able to look at me in the eyes.
"Uh..." I turned back and breathed out heavily.
"You can go rest in your room. You must be tired."
"No!... I'll cook." I took away the bowl which she was holding.
"I'll cook I said." She snatched back the bowl.
"Okay... But I'll also help."
"If you're insisting... then you can help."
I secretly smiled. "Get started now. The mice in my stomach are dying."
"Okay, okay."
And soon we started preparing the dinner. Mirae pretended to be very confident at first but in reality she almost messed it up.

Mirae's POV
"It looked a lot easier to make in that video though..." I mumbled to myself, looking at the food that I messed up. "Ah, what do I do?..."
"Did you say something?" San said.
"No!" I looked back the the mess in front of me and cursed myself in my mind.
I'm doomed...
"Move aside."
"What?"
"I'll take care of it. You do something else."
"But..."
"Leave it to me."
"...Okay."
I pouted and thought about what should I do next. "I should bring the plates then..." I looked for them.
I searched some of the cupboards before I could find them. "Found it." I tiptoed to reach it but failed.
"Why is it so high?"
I sighed and looked for something. I smiled as soon as I saw it. I brought the small ladder near the cupboard and climbed on it. I tried to reach for it but still I wasn't able to.
"Why am I so short?"
I tiptoed and kept reaching for it but I lost my balance. My leg slipped and was about to fall backwards but...
