Mirae's POV
When I opened my eyes, the first thing I was San's face. He was still asleep, wrapping his arms around me.
I stared at him for a while. "Will everything be okay?" I mumbled. "It will be, right?" Just then he slowly opened his eyes.
"Uh? You're already awake?..." he said in his morning voice.
"I just woke up."
He touched my forehead. "You were shivering last night. Are you feeling better now?"
"Hm." I nodded. "...Thanks, San-ah."
"For what?"
"Just... everything."
He tucked a strand of my hair behind my ear and caressed my cheeks. "...I can't believe that you're my girl. I'm so lucky to have someone like you."
"Me too."
"Ah, right! I forgot something."
"What?"
He smiled before gently planting a kiss on my forehead. "Good morning, jagiya."
"Yah~" I hit him slightly, blushing. "It's so cringey."
"So what?... You like it, don't you?"
"No!..."
"You do." He pecked my cheeks. "I can tell very well that you like it." He pecked my lips.
I pushed him away and was about to get off the bed when he pulled me back.
"Let's cuddle for five more minutes." He pulled me closer, hugging me tightly. "...And it's gonna be okay. Don't worry."
"Huh?"
"I love you."
I chuckled. "Me too."

"He even knew about the voice pen?" San said, shocked. We were now in the living room.
I nodded. "But I don't know how. Only Seonghwa oppa and Jiwoo unnie knew about it...Then how did he get those information?"
"I don't understand either... Maybe a spy?"
"Spy?"
"Yeah, he must have kept a spy to watch over you."
I instantly got goosebumps. "It's so scary to have someone watch over you all the time!... But who could it be?"
"Someone who can easily get mine and your whereabouts well, someone we know but can never suspect him... But who?" He sighed in frustration.
"We'll think about it later. Now we need to focus on what should we do next."
"I've thought of something. Come closer." And so I did. He whispered the whole plan to me.
"Will it really work?"

Nari's POV
"What?! You're going to kill Kang Mirae?" I said in shock.
"What's there to be so shocked?" Hyunwoo said. I was now at his hideout.
"Have you lost your mind?! How can you kill a person? I just wanted back San from her, not her to be killed."
"Then how will you steal San from her? You need to get rid of the hurdles in order to reach your goal."
"But killing someone is a crime!"
"So what? You wanted that, didn't you?"
"Yah, Lee Hyunwoo! You're a monster! I didn't know you would go to this extent to kill a person. I did a big mistake for joining a monster like you."
I stood up and was about to walk away when he spoke. "You're no different from me." I turned back to face him.
"Watch your words!" He too stood up.
"You were the one who told me to execute that accident, didn't you?" I gulped. "Do you know what will happen to you if I report that to the cops?
"I agree, I hated that woman for taking my mom's place and was stupid enough to think something like that but now I regret it... And killing someone is crossing the limits. No, I can't let you do that. I'll go and tell San about it."
I walked towards the door but two of the guards blocked my way. "Move!" I tried to push them away but they didn't even budge an inch.
"You can't escape now." I turned back to face Hyunwoo.
I trembled a little. "My dad will not leave you if you do anything to me."
"Tch... If he doesn't get to know about it then? Tie her hands and lock her in a room."
"Yah! Lee Hyunwoo–"
I couldn't say anything after that as one of the guards wrapped a piece of cloth around my mouth. I tried to fidget as they were tying my hands but it was of no use.
"Make sure she doesn't escape from there."
Then the guards dragged me to an empty room. They pushed me inside the room and locked the door.
I stood up and looked around to find something to help me escape but nothing seemed to be useful; not even a window or some kind of weapon.
I fell on the floor as the tears kept rolling down my cheeks. I regretted all my decisions for joining that monster.
Someone please save me... Please get me out of here... Please...
