Chapter 3

Violet's pov

"Vi, you have to get your hand checked." Lily pestered me while I walked back to the library. "Lil, for the fifth time. I'm fine." I argue entering the library. Lily grabs my wrist, causing me to hiss in pain and pull my hand away. "Oh sure, you're fine!" Lily spit at me. I roll my eyes and find Molly. I walk past Regulus who eyes me cradling my hand and quickly looks at Lily for answers. "She punched Severus." Lily informs Regulus who snorts, before she smacks his head. I walk over to Molly who is studying with Alice, Frank, and Arthur. "Molly, I need your amazing healing skills." I state showing her my hand. The four look up at me with questioning  looks. "I'll explain in the common room. I can't go to Pomfrey or she'll ask questions." I inform them, making them all nod. Molly walks beside me holding my wrist in her hands, looking at it carefully. Alice, Frank, Arthur, Marlene, Lily, and Regulus follow close behind us. As we walk up the stairs to the Gryffindor common room we run into Sirius, James, and Remus. "Did she tell you what happened with-" James starts before Lily smacks his head. "Ow! Bloody hell, Lily!" James shouts rubbing the back of his head. "Not here. Wait till we get inside." Lily scolds all the boys.

We enter the common room, which was luckily empty, and Molly places me on a chair while the rest of the Gryffindors sit on the couches. Regulus walks behind me and places a kiss on my head. "Would you like to explain how you sprained your wrist?" Molly questioned me with annoyance. "I had a good reason Molly! I didn't punch something-" I get cut off by Sirius. "Someone!" Sirius shouts. "I didn't punch someone for shits and giggles. OW! Molly! Gentle!" I shout as she grabs my wrist tight. "Explain it already! Come on Vi! Stop being so slow." James teases. I look at Lily making sure she was okay with me saying what happened, she smiles at me and nods slowly. I notice James wraps his arm around her and rubs his thumb against her arm.

"Severus called Lily a mudblood." I say slowly before I hear gasps from everyone in the room. "He also called Remus pathetic, saying that Remus would eventually kill me." I finish while Molly finishes wrapping my hand. The room went silent for a few seconds due to no one knowing what to say. "She bloody punched Snivellus!" James shouts earning laughs from Sirius, Regulus and Marlene. "Bloody git deserved it." Lily mutters under her breath. The entire room opens their mouths in awe. "Lily Evans! You called Snivellus a git!" Marlene shouts with laughter. "A bloody git, Marlene!" I shout laughing with Marlene. "Oh shove off, you two." Lily groans. Regulus slides his hands around my waist, making sure he avoids my wrist. "So Violet, I think we should start calling you Violent." Regulus whispers into my ear. Normally, I would get shy around him but that bloody nickname is terrible. "Violent?" I question, not being able to control my laughter.

"Sorry, I don't mean to laugh but that's terrible!" I cry with laughter, I hear Regulus laugh to himself. "Merlin, your laugh is adorable." He mutters in my ear making me go red. "Oi! Regulus, what did you say to Vi, she's red?" Remus asks looking up at us. Regulus laughs kissing my head before walking over to the sofa. The group waits for him to answer Remus' question. "That's for me to know, Violet to blush about, and you, lot to wonder about." He states smugly winking at me. I roll my eyes and turn to James. "Prongs! I could use a drink." I suggest smiling at his and Sirius' smiles grow. James jumps off the couch and runs to their dorm. He comes back with loads of Firewhisky as well as some muggle alcohol, setting it on the table he conjures cups for all of us.

After a few drinks, Molly and Arthur run up to their room while Alice and Frank run up to theirs. "Bloody lucky they have their own rooms." Sirius grumbles as the two couples giggle running up the stairs. "And who would you take, if you had said private room?" I tease making Sirius slouch on the couch. "Oh! I have an idea! Since we are all a little tipsy, except for Lils, let's play truth or dare." Marlene shouts making James' eyes light up. Everyone nods in agreement, I stand up to fill my cup up, as I sit down Regulus wraps his arm around my waist. "I'll start! Um, Remus! Truth or dare?" Marlene says taking a drink. "Um, truth." Remus says earning boos from James and Sirius. "Cutest person here?" Marlene asks. "Lily" Remus says before taking a drink. "That was bloody weak- wait! Why wasn't it me?" Sirius pouts.

Remus rolls his eyes before scanning the room, "James, truth or dare?" Remus asked while pouring more Firewhisky in James' cup. James takes the shot before looking at Remus. "Dare! Do your worst!" James shouts, making Sirius lean over to whisper with Remus. "Hey! No helping." James pouts. "They can help, James." I argue. "James, we dare you to talk dirty to Lily." Remus states while Sirius winks at Lily. Lily shuffles in her seat while James walks over to stand in front of her. James leans down to Lily's ear and starts to whisper his dirty thoughts to her. "Lily! You are as red as fire!" Marlene shouts once James sits back in his seat smiling smugly. "Ahem, Regulus! Truth or dare?" James asks, directing the attention away from the flustered Lily. "Dare" Regulus says confidently. James smiles wickedly, "Shit, give me the Firewhisky, love." He asks me, I smile and hand him the Firewhisky, he drinks it quickly before looking back at James. "Cutest boy here?" James states making Marlene burst into laughter. Regulus chuckles next to me. "James Potter" Regulus says before winking and smirking at James, who returns the wink and smirk.

"Marlene! Truth or dare?" Regulus asks. "Truth!" Marlene shouts cheerfully. "Who do you fancy?" Regulus questioned, making me and Lily choke on our drink and laugh at her terrified face. "Um, Sirius." Marlene states frantically, grabbing the muggle alcohol from the table and taking a drink. She wipes her mouth before turning to me. "Violet, truth or dare?" Marlene asks, avoiding Sirius' gaze. "I'll do dare!" I exclaim, having confidence from the alcohol. "If it's okay with Lily, flirt with James and make him as flustered as he made Lily." Marlene says smirking at me. I look at Lily who is just as shocked as I am. I whisper to Lily what I plan on doing and she giggles and cheers me on.

I turn to face James, smirking. I wink at Marlene and Lily. I walk over to James, I place my hands on the couch behind him. Slowly, I straddle myself onto James lap earning whistles from Sirius, Lily, and Marlene. Sitting on his lap, I place my right hand on his shoulder and my left hand on the back of his neck. I lean closer to his ear, "Are you gonna kiss me? It's four in the morning, take me to your dorm. Stop overthinking." I whisper into his ear, earning a suppressed groan. I grab his chin with my right hand making him face me, our noses are touching. "Let's fuck up our friendship." I whisper once more before getting off his lap and winking at Lily and Marlene. Once I sit back down I notice how red James is, Remus is looking at him with disgust, while Sirius is laughing so hard he falls off the couch. "Vi! You made James Potter flustered!" Sirius shouts in between his laughter on the floor. James throws a pillow at Sirius.

"Sirius! Truth or dare?" I ask. "Dare!" Sirius shouts, while getting off the floor. "Take five shots of Firewhisky in a row, no stopping." I say handing him the bottle of Firewhisky. "Trying to get me drunk Lupin? If you wanted me to strip all you had to do was ask." Sirius smirks pouring five shots. "Later, Sirius later." I said while winking at him. Sirius downs the five shots easily but stumbles to the couch. "LILY! Truth or dare!?" Sirius shouts leaning over Remus. "Um, dare." Lily says nervously. "I dare you to make out with one person in this room!" Sirius shouts, sending James a wink. Lily stands up and walks over to me, she grabs my face but winks at James before turning to face me. She cups my cheeks and sits on my lap. She leans in and kisses me passionately. Once we break apart she smiles at me, we burst into laughter while Marlene cheers us on. James, Remus, Sirius, and Regulus sit with their mouths open. "I feel left out now." Marlene pouts. I lean in and kiss Marlene gently, then Lily does the same. The boys clear their throat once we pull away. "Well, I'm exhausted!" I state making the girls nod and stand up with me. "Night boys!" Marlene shouts walking upstairs, Lily kisses James' cheek biding good-night. I kiss Regulus' cheek before walking up the stairs. "Oh! Boys, don't forget to clean up the mess." I say sweetly, before giggling and walking into my dorm to sleep.
