Chapter 34

Regulus' pov

I woke up the next morning to Violet curled into a ball against my side. She held onto my arm as it was her life source. I watched her in awe for a few minutes, slowly I brushed her hair out of her face. I caressed her cheek gently, I caught a glimpse at the damage I made on her neck and breast. How can one person be this beautiful, I rubbed my thumb against her cheek. She leaned into my hand and her eyes slowly fluttered open. "Morning beautiful." I whispered before peppering her face with kisses.

"Mhm, morning Reg." She croaked, stretching her arms up. I smiled and kissed her lips gently, she wrapped her arms around my shoulders pulling me closer. "I have to get up, love." She mumbled while laughing. "No, love. Call in, yeah?" I begged, kissing her neck. "You know I can't." She complained. "Fine go shower, I'll make you food." I ordered, she smiled and jumped out of bed. She placed a kiss on my cheek before walking to the bathroom. I slid on boxers and plaid green and black pajama bottoms before making my way to our kitchen.

As I was making her food, I heard her water turn off. I smiled and plated her food, before I sat down there was a knock at the door. I walked over to our door and opened it, Professor McGonagall and Gilderoy were outside my door. "Minnie! How lovely to see you!" I cheered. "Regulus, dear put a shirt on." She groaned before walking in. I laughed and summoned my shirt to me, as I put it on Violet called. "Reg, who was at the door?" She shouted from our room.

"Minnie is here!" I shouted back, winking at McGonagall. "Regulus, why must you keep calling me that?" Minerva laughed. "You love it." I teased ignoring Gilderoy's presence. Violet walked in and I grabbed her waist and kissed her passionately before smirking at Lockhart. "Professors, is there something you need?" Violet questioned. McGonagall sighed before speaking, "Professor Lockhart wanted to make sure you were still spending the whole school day with him." McGonagall mumbled.

I stiffened and my grip on Violet tightened, I looked at Violet and then back at McGonagall. I noticed Gilderoy had a sly smirk, "Yes, I told you yesterday Gilderoy." Violet groaned, rubbing her forehead. I kissed her temple before glaring at Lockhart. "Brilliant! We can leave right now to get started." Lockhart cheered, he grabbed Violet's hand and dragged her. "I haven't eaten breakfast yet!" She shouted, ripping her arm from him. "I have breakfast for you dear." Lockhart confessed.

Violet's pov

"I have breakfast for you dear." Gilderoy confessed. I walked back to Regulus, I placed my arms on the back of his neck. His once contorted angry face was now relaxed, I kissed his lips slowly. "Meet me for lunch?" I proposed, he nodded and kissed me once more. "Bye love, see you at lunch." I whispered. He pulled me back and handed me a muffin, "Eat, you need it." He whispered, kissing my forehead. I smiled and walked out with McGonagall and Gilderoy. "So Violet, I was thinking if this lesson goes well you could help me out the rest of the day!" He cheered.

I looked at McGonagall who was stifling her laughter. "Yup, sure sounds good Lockhart." I mumbled while taking a bit of my muffin. "Did Reg make it for you?" McGonagall questioned. "Yes! It's bloody delicious. Here try this half." I mumbled handing her the uneaten half. She bit into it, "Merlin! Vi, have him make more and give some to me." She laughed before continuing with devouring the muffin. "It can't be that good! I once saved an entire bakery from a deranged goblin." Lockhart bragged, I rolled my eyes and walked into his class. Bading goodbye to McGonagall, I sat on a desk.

"Alright! What did you need me to start with?" I asked, scooting back from the edge. He walked close to me and smirked, just then Adrian and Marcus walked in the class. "Ah! Professor Black!" Marcus exclaimed, I let out a relieved sigh. "Reggie told us you would be here!" Adrian added as they walked up to me. I jumped off the table and pulled them into a hug. "You heard the twins call him Reggie, huh?" I laughed as they pulled away. They nodded and laughed, "So, Vi. We were wondering if you could cheer for us against Ravenclaw?" They smiled hopefully.
