Violet's pov
July 14, 1979
Last night Regulus couldn't stop cheering that we would be married in less than 48 hours, well now it's less than 24, I know I won't hear the end of it. My eyes flutter open as the sun shines through the curtains. I look up and see Regulus' face inches from mine, I couldn't help but smile at his gorgeous face, perfectly sculpted. His black hair has fallen in front of his face, blocking his eyes. Slowly, I lift my hand up to move his hair to the side, once I manage to move it to the side, I am able to take in all his features. He tightens his grip around me, pulling me into his bare chest.
I gently start to pepper his chest with light kisses, slowly moving my way up his neck reaching his jaw. He groans lightly before looking down at me, he smirks once he notices the faint blush on my cheeks. "What a lovely way to wake up." He teases as he pushes my hair behind my hair. He leans in and kisses my lips gently, he grabs the back of my head pulling me closer. I smile into the kiss, in turn he smiles as well. "Good morning, love." He mumbles into my hair, placing a kiss on my temple before he gets off the bed.
"Bloody hell! Why are you, lot, watching us!" Regulus shouts as he stands up. In our doorway was Remus, Sirius, James, Lily, and Marlene. I sit up and see the girls raising their eyebrows at me and pointing to Regulus who is still shirtless. I get out of bed, making my way over to stand next to Regulus. Lily and Marlene giggle as they notice I'm wearing Regulus' shirt, Remus groans and leaves to go to the kitchen. "Cheeky git!" Sirius shouts before jumping on Regulus.
"Less than 24 hours until you are a married man!" James shouts as he jumps on Regulus as well. "Are you sure you want to go through with it. I'll happily take your place." Sirius teases before sending me a wink. I roll my eyes and walk to the bathroom. Once I put clothes on we all walk out to the kitchen to join Remus. "Not that I don't love you all, I do. However, what are you all doing here?" I ask before kissing Remus on the cheek. "Bachelorette party!" Lily and Marlene cheer, I groan lightly. "I don't want to do anything crazy." I protest. "Yes, yes we know Vi. We are going to drink at Lily's and spend the night there, while the boys deal with Regulus." Marlene explained, I nodded liking that idea.
Regulus grabs my waist and spins me to face him, I smile at him as he grabs my chin. "I can't wait to see you walk down that aisle tomorrow, love." he whispers against my lips. I blush at his words, I wrap my arms around his neck and pull him down into me. He grabs a hold of my waist and lifts me up gently. I giggle and pull him away in order to hug him. "I'll see you in less than 24 hours." I mumble as the girls come down with things I'll need for the wedding. "24 hours until you're stuck with me forever!" He shouts as we walk towards the fireplace. "Remus, make sure he's not late tomorrow!" I shout before we arrive in Lily and James' house.
"Alright! I'll go get the Muggle wine!" Lily shouts as she walks to the kitchen. "You have to tell us everything you're feeling!" Marlene shouts as she throws me a blanket. I laugh as Lily hands us each a glass and places food on the table. "Spill!" Lily and Marlene exclaim as we all begin to drink. "There's nothing to spill." I mutter before grabbing some food. "Oh come on! Don't get so secretive on us now." Marlene teases, I roll my eyes before sitting up. "I really love him, I could marry him this instant, no wedding needed! He's everything to me, I truly don't know what I would do without him by my side." I express my emotions out in one breath. We talk for countless hours until Lily convinces us to rest before tomorrow. I go to sleep thinking about how handsome Regulus is going to look tomorrow, merlin I am still falling in love with him.

I wake up to Lily and Marlene whispering amongst each other. As I sit up they tackle me back down on the bed. "It's your wedding day!" Lily cheers. "Are you nervous?" Marlene questions. "No, but I am hungry." I groan as they get off me. Lily, Marlene and I make our way into the kitchen to have a light breakfast. After we finished with the breakfast we grabbed everything we needed and apparated to the venue. Once we arrived I was tackled by Fred and George, I kneeled down and they wrapped their tiny arms around me. "Hi, Vi!" they cheered in sync. "Hi, Fred, George!" I cheered back before walking to the room with them.
