Violet's pov

Once I woke up, I quietly slipped out of Regulus' and Grace's arms and ran to the shower. I dressed in a Gryffindor red pantsuit with black heels. Curled my long light brown hair and put on mascara, eye shadow, eyebrow gel, and powder. Walking down to our kitchen, I wrote a note for Regulus and then one for Grace. I placed each note next to their pancakes, I walked back up to our bedroom and placed kisses on their foreheads and cheeks. Finally, I went down to the Great Hall and was greeted by McGonagall.

"Good Morning, Violet." McGonagall spoke as I sat down to eat. "Good Morning, Professor." I greeted back. Severus walked over to me, I looked up at him and smiled. "You are still going to be in my class this morning?" He spoke in a monotone voice, I nodded before taking another bite. "I do hope you remember how to brew potions." He sneered. "I am capable of brewing a second year potion, Professor. After all, how do you think Grace is brewing a 4th year potion?" I spit back before continuing my eating. "What started the feud between the two of you?" McGonagall asked as Severus walked away.

"I didn't have a problem with him until he called Lily, that foul name. I only teased him along with James, Sirius and Remus because he would follow Lily like a lost puppy." I explain before pushing my plate away. She nods before nudging me and pointing to the twins. They were whispering before grabbing handfuls of food. I stood up fairly fast, "Fredrick Gideon Weasley, George Fabien Weasley! Put the food back on the plate! And walk outside the Hall!" I shout, causing them to turn as red as their hair, they look up at me with horrified looks. "Walk!" I shout once more earning laughter and taunts thrown at the twins. McGonagall smiles at me before I follow them out.

"Vi, are we," Fred mumbles, "Are you going to tell mom?" George mumbles next. I rub their cheeks gently, before kissing their foreheads. "No, but seriously! You could have been a bit more sneaky." I exclaim, they laugh before hugging me. "Now, put on a sad face and act like I took away all your prank materials." I state making them frown and pretend to cry. As I walk back in McGonagall gives me a thumbs up before Severus walks in front of me. He puts his hand on my back and escorts me out, when I try to take his hand off he grips my arm. Fred and George stand in front of us, glaring at Severus. "We would appreciate it if you took your hands off her." Fred states. "Don't want us to blow up the potion today, do you Professor?" George states sternly. He lets go of me and walks to his classroom, "Follow me Mrs. Black." He sneers while walking away.

I kiss Fred and George's cheek, while ruffling their hair. "Thank you boys." I whisper before taking off to follow Severus. I walked into his classroom and looked around. "Keep those two flaming haired boys under control." He sneers before handing me cauldrons. "When you grab onto me harshly, they assume you are harming me. I'm not going to stop them from being protective." I sneer back placing cauldrons on the tables. "Keep them in line. Along with your daughter." He sneered once more, before I could retaliate, students walked in. I smiled brightly at the students, I noticed Fred and George sitting with Oliver and Lee from last night.

"As you are all aware this is Professor Black, she will be helping in some of your classes. Enough! Of the chattering." He sneered before writing on the chalkboard the page number and how long they have. Fred and George eyed me down, I smiled and walked over. "Professor, you look lovely." George whispered while Fred shot a wink at me. "Stop it, focus please." I whispered back, rubbing their backs before walking to a table that was going to put the wrong ingredients in. I grabbed the kid's hands, he looked at me confused. "Can you tell me what that is in your hands, before you put it in the cauldron?" I said sweetly before sitting next to him. "It's salamander blood, I need to stir clockwise." The kid spoke softly. "What is your name, dear?" I ask him. "Um, Marcus Flint." He mumbled.

"Well, Marcus you are almost correct with the process. You are supposed to stir counter clockwise." I state, letting go of his hands. He nods before pouring the contents in and stirring counter clockwise. I pat his back before sitting at another table. The class ended and Severus was going to award points to the house that did the best. "Weasleys you earned your house 5 points for once, I hope you thank Professor Black. Flint you earned your house 5 points as well, I also hope you thank Professor Black because without her help you would have blown up the cauldron as well as your table. Next time read instructions, dismissed." He sneered. I rolled my eyes and the students left, Marcus came up to me. "Thank you for your help Professor." He mumbled avoiding eye contact with Snape. "You're welcome, dear. You did most of it, just be sure to read carefully." I respond kindly, earning a scoff from Severus.
