Chapter 12

Violet's pov

It took about 2 hours for everyone to get Sirius, Lily and I to head to the Burrow. I'm not sure why but we were all fighting it, constantly pushing people away from us. I have to admit, Sirius was by far the worst, Lily was able to pull herself together due to Harry now crying. I fell back into a state of numbness, my heart hurts, but physically I can't cry anymore. "James! Get off!" Sirius shouts as James tries to stop him from punching any more walls. "Molly, you need to get them to your house, they are too vulnerable." Dumbledore speaks softly. "VULNERABLE! We just lost our best friend and you insult us!" Sirius yells. "Black you are too emotional to be thinking straight, take a minute to collect yourself." Severus speaks for the first time. Sirius is steaming now, he pushes Regulus and Remus off him trying to make his way to Severus. 

"What are you even doing here Severus, because last time I checked you were a death eater!" Sirius shouts as he gets closer. I finally snap out of my trance and walk in front of Sirius, I look up at him, tears still falling down both of our faces. Sirius looks down as me, he quickly pulls me into a hug. I wrap my arms around his neck as he buries his head into my neck. "Sh-she's gone! It's not fair!" Sirius cries into my neck, while I play with his hair. "I-I know Sirius! But she wouldn't want you to beat everyone up for it." I comfort him. Molly takes hold of me and Sirius and apparates us to the Burrow.

Sirius and I collapse in each other's arms, falling onto the couch we cry together. "She's really gone!" Sirius cries, I hold him in my arms. "She is." I cry while James, Lily, Remus, Regulus, Dumbledore, Severus and the rest of the Weasleys get to the Burrow. "Marlene wrote her will, and it includes Sirius, Lily, and Violet." Dumbledore begins. "Whenever you ar-" He stops abruptly. "Read it now." I speak while Sirius and I stand up. "Very well, Severus the letter." he turns to face Severus.

"To Lily Evans-Potter, I leave all the clothes and toys I bought Harry for his first birthday since I will not get to see it-" Dumbledore stops. "She just wrote that will, didn't she?" I interrupt, Dumbledore nods slowly. "He made her write it, before he killed her?" Sirius questions. "He is cruel and d-" Severus starts. "You would know wouldn't you, Snevillus!" Sirius yells, I take his hand and squeeze it. "To Sirius Orion Black, I leave this letter, containing everything I wish I would have told you. Also to Sirius Orion Black, I leave 5 galleons from our bet our last year at Hogwarts, you were right." Dumbledore finished, handing Sirius the letter and 5 galleons. Sirius lets out a breathy laugh. I lean my head on his shoulder and he leans his head on mine. "Of course she would leave you the bet money." I whisper, while he laughs again.

"To Violet Lupin-Black, I leave all my money in Gringotts. To help with the Weasleys, Potters, you and if you and Regulus decide to have a kid." Dumbledore spoke while handing me her key and paper work for the vault. I take the key and look at Regulus, he gives me a small smile before pulling me into his chest. Sirius, Lily, and I hug each other tightly for a few minutes, letting any tears fall. Severus scoffs a bit loud, "Severus," Dumbledore warns. Sirius ignores him and Lily glares before turning to take Harry. "Have something to say Severus?" I sneer, Regulus grabs my hand, but I pull away. "Go on, spit it out. No need to get shy now." I spit while walking closer. "You need to learn to control your emotions." Severus spits back.

"Vi!" Sirius shouts, stopping me from attacking Severus. I turn and look back at Sirius, he opened the letter. "She loved me?" He asks while tears pour out of his eyes once more. I smile and nod at him. "Of course she did Sirius." I confess while hugging him again. Dumbledore and Severus left shortly after, James and Lily left to put Harry to bed. Leaving Remus, Regulus, Sirius, the Weasleys and I at the Burrow. Remus got Sirius to laugh with Bill and Charlie. Regulus holds me close to him before the twins run over, I kneel down and they give me hugs and kisses. "Vi, want to cuddle later?" George asks while running his fingers through my hair. Fred kisses my cheek while waiting for my answer. "I would love to, boys." I whisper as they giggle and run off.
