Violet's pov

Halloween Night

"Harry, Draco! Where are the twins?" I asked as I caught up to the two. "Oh, um," Harry stuttered, I eyed him. "There is no use in lying or hiding it. She's Violet, she'll figure it out." Draco stated as it was obvious. "They are pranking Ron." Harry mumbled, I rolled my eyes. "And why are they doing that?" I asked in an annoyed tone. "Ron may have called Hermione a nightmare, stating that's why she didn't have any friends." Draco added shyly. I groaned and took off to the Gryffindor room. I walked in to see Ron dangling by his feet with George holding him and Fred casting the laughing jinx.

"Put him down!" I shouted at the twins, they froze before a sly grin appeared on their face. George dropped him, causing Ron to faceplant, I glared at them. "Go to dinner! Not you, Ron!" I shout, the twins kiss my cheek before laughing at Ron and leaving. "Why aren't they getting punished?" Ron complained. "They didn't call Hermione a nightmare, did they?" I sneered, making Ron turn bright red. "Ron, why would you say that?" I muttered while kneeling down to him. "She was lecturing me about how I pronounce the spell wrong and it made me feel stupid." Ron mumbled, I rubbed my thumb on his cheeks.

"Love, she doesn't mean it that way. She wants to help you succeed. She is as passionate about her wits and books as you are with food." I giggle towards the end. Ron sighs and nods gently. "I'll apologize to her. Thank you Vi." Ron mumbled, he hugged me tightly as we walked out of the tower and to the Great Hall. As we entered the Great Hall, I sat up along with the other Professors. McGonagall and Sprout were deep into conversation when Professor Quirrell ran into the Great Hall screaming. The room went silent, "TROLL! Troll in the dungeons! I thought you'd want to know." Quirrell shouts before passing out. The students started to scream and run around like crazy.

"SILENCE! Now if the Prefects could escort your housemates to your houses. Quietly, might I add. No wandering, straight to your houses." Dumbledore spoke clearly, the students began to leave the Great Hall. "Mrs. Black, I could use your assistance." Severus spoke calmly while staring at me and then looking back at the passed out Quirrell. I furrowed my eyebrows with confusion but nodded along, the rest of the Professors left and Severus grabbed my wrist and pulled me through a door. I groaned with him dragging me and he sneered at me. "You don't need to drag me, Snivellius!" I whisper-shouted, he groaned and continued to drag me to the third floor corridor.

"Severus, why are we here?" I asked quietly as he opened the door to reveal a three headed dog. I smacked Severus' shoulder, "Why did you bring me her, twat!?" I shouted in a whisper to avoid waking the dog. "Charming, as childish as always. Quirrell is trying to get an important item in here. Hide behind that curtain, don't speak." Severus sneered, I nodded and hid behind the curtain. Minutes later Quirrell came to the door and Severus stood up to him, he backed away. "S-S-Severus, what are y-you doing here? T-The troll." Quirrell stuttered. "Isn't the troll your expertise, I would assume that you would be there not here. What are you doing here?" Severus spit walking closer to him. "I-I-I-" Quirrell got cut off by screams from down the hall. Once Quirrell took off Severus grabbed me and we ran to the screams.

Once we walked in McGonagall caught up to us and Quirrell was in the bathroom. The troll was on the floor, Hermione was crawling from under the sink, Harry was on top of the troll, Draco and Ron were beside the troll their wands pointed at it. Before McGonagall could say anything I lost it. "WHAT THE BLOODY HELL ARE YOU FOUR DOING!?" I shouted, making everyone flinch. Harry went to speak, I put my hand up. "I don't want to hear it!" I shouted once more. Draco went to walk to me to explain, I glared at him. "I said I don't want to hear it." I sneered. McGonagall placed her hand on my shoulder, "Severus, take Mrs. Black to my office. She is too close to punish these four. I fear she will be too harsh." McGonagall spoke, Severus nodded and directed me out of the bathroom.
