Chapter 9

Violet's pov

As everyone made their way into the ballroom, Regulus came behind me wrapping his hands around my waist, swaying us back and forth. I smiled brightly as I held his hands against my waist. Fred and George ran over to me and pulled on my dress to get my attention, I kneeled down to their level. "Prank, now!" They whisper-shouted while laughing. I smiled and took their hands. "I'll be back, Reg." I said smiling at him before leading the boys to Sirius. "Sirius! Come here." I shouted to get his attention.

"Yes, Lupin?" He asked, smiling at the twins. The boys stuck their hands out which had candy in it. The candy turned the person's entire mouth blue. "I am trying to get the boys to share." I state smiling at Sirius. "Mhm, very well then. Thanks boys." Sirius said, raising the candies before putting it in his mouth. Once he finished the candies he flashed a smile, a very blue smile. The boys couldn't keep it together and started to laugh. Sirius eyed me, James, Lily, Remus, and Regulus made their way over to us.

"Hey, Padfoot do you- Ahhh!" Remus shouted, making our group stare at Sirius. Everyone noticed his blue stained mouth and couldn't hold in their laughter. Marlene walked over and tapped Sirius' shoulder, "Sirius would you want to- Why is your mouth blue?" Marlene asked, making Sirius turn to face me and the twins. "Run!" I shouted, making the twins run to Molly. I ran behind Regulus, who was now my personal shield. "It will wear off in 2 minutes. Look! It's fading!" I shouted, James handed Sirius a glass of water. "You and those bloody twins, Lupin." Sirius groaned. "I did learn from the one and only Marauders!" I cheered, James, Remus and Sirius took a bow.

March 7 1979

"Love! Have you seen my green tie?" Regulus shouts from the bedroom, I walk into the bedroom with my dress unzipped. "Zip me up first, will you?" I ask turning my back to Regulus. "Mmm, don't know if I want to, darling." He whispered as he kissed from my shoulders down my back. "Regulus! If you don't stop we will be late!" I shout as he groans and zips me up. I turned to my closet and grabbed his green tie, I threw it to him and went back to the bathroom to touch up my hair.

"Love, why was my tie in your closet?" He asked before groaning at his tie. I walk out and tie his tie for him, placing a kiss on his lips before speaking. "Because you always lose it, that's why." I say smiling before Sirius barges in. "Hurry up, love birds." Sirius snaps at us. "We could have been naked you know." Regulus argues as we walk out of the door. "Yea sure! Because that sounds like Vi. 'Oh Reg! Let's have a quickie before we go to a wedding with your brother!'" Sirius mimics my voice. I scrunch up my nose before punching Sirius' arm.

As we apparate to the Malfoy Manor, Regulus holds my arm tight. "Don't leave our side tonight. We love Narcissa but the Malfoy's are just as bad as our mom." Regulus whispers before kissing my head, I nod as we walk in. Bellatrix greets us and eyes me up and down. "Don't think your mum would be happy Regulus." She sneers while pointing at the ring. "Now now Bella, play nicely." Sirius scoffed before walking us in.

Taking our seat we received a lot of glares and sneers from the purebloods around us. Regulus placed his hand on my thigh, giving it an occasional squeeze to reassure me. Sirius held my hand, while their mother walked by scoffing at the three of us. "Regulus, you are a bigger disappointment than your brother." She sneers before eyeing my up and down. "Leave mother." Sirius spits, I held his arm to stop him from causing a scene. "We are here for Narcissa. Remember that." I whisper, Sirius relaxed and turned to face Regulus and I.

The music started to play as Narcissa walked down the aisle, everyone stood up and watched as she walked down the aisle. "She's beautiful." I mumble to the boys next to me. "Indeed." they state together, "A shame she's marrying that." Sirius whispered, making Regulus and I hold in our laughter. Once the reception ended, the three of us walked inside, placing our gifts on the table. "Alright, let's give Cissy a kiss then let's leave." Sirius ordered, in which me and Regulus nodded and laughed. I spotted Narcissa walking towards us, I walked up to her and gave her a hug. "Narcissa, you are absolutely stunning!" I compliment while taking her all in. "Thank you Vi. I see the ring, when's the wedding?" She asked looking at Regulus.
