Violet's pov

September 1, 1981

The order called a meeting, dreading it I changed and brushed my hair out. They decided to have it at the Burrow, I took Regulus' hand and we used the Floo to the Burrow. Remus and Sirius followed us after, Regulus squeezed my hand tightly, I turned and looked up at him. "Can we take off the charm, love? I want to see our baby." He whispered into my ear. I nodded and pulled out my wand, I waved my wand over my stomach and my bump began to show. Regulus beamed and rubbed my belly slowly. Sirius walked by and lit up seeing it, he kneeled down and kissed my stomach. "I can't wait to meet my niece or nephew." Sirius whispered before standing up.

"If Dumbledore is here, I'm going to lose it." Sirius mumbled before we walked out to the back. "I'll lose it with you." I mumble back earning a side hug from him. "Remus, you hold back Sirius and I'll hold back Violet." Regulus announced from the side of me, Remus nodded and laughed in response. Sirius and I glared at the two before the four of us walked out to the back. "VI!" the twins shout. Just the voices I wanted to hear, I smile and look down at them. "Woah!" Fred states. "Your belly!" George now states. "It's huge!" they shout in sync, I laugh and kneel down. "There is a baby in my stomach, boys. I am having a little baby." I explain, they look at my stomach. They slowly place their hands on it and smile up at me.

I smile and stand up taking their hands, they lead me to the rest of the group. "Oh, Violet!" Molly exclaims as she pulls me into a hug. I nuzzle my head into her neck and let out muffled sobs. "It's okay dear, you'll get Harry back." Molly comforts me. "I miss them terribly, Molly. Marlene, James, Lily, and now it feels as if I lost Harry too." I cry into her shoulder. Molly holds me for a bit longer until more members show up. Everyone is mourning James and Lily, Severus appears just five minutes after everyone else. I know Dumbledore is next to appear, I see Hagrid walking over to me along with McGonagall.

"Violet, I-I'm sorry for taking him from you. I-I didn't wa-" Hagrid begins to sob, I take his hand. "I'm not mad at you Hagrid. I know Dumbledore made you." I comfort giving his hand a squeeze. He nodded at me before leaving McGonagall to talk to me. "Violet," McGonagall whispers, holding her arms open. I hug her and cry into her arms. "Just know that they are okay, they are with each other." She whispers while kissing my head. "I feel like I failed the only thing they asked me to do. They just wanted me to have Harry and care for him. I can't do that now. I failed." I cried into her chest. "Dear, you didn't fail them. Never think you failed them. You are the best thing that happened to Lily, aside from Harry." She let out a small laugh, I laughed as well. "You will have him soon enough, I promise." She whispered once more before letting me go.

I saw Severus standing in a corner grieving silently, 'Merlin Lily, I hate that you told me to forgive him.' I think before walking over to him. He looks up and quickly wipes his eyes, I notice Remus, Sirius, and Regulus watching me. "She wanted me to forgive you. Lily forgives you for school. I forgive you as well, for Lily." Severus sniffs and looks up at me, he gives a small smile. "Thank you, Violet." He whispers, I mentally curse Lily for making me soft. I hug Severus, he breaks down in my arms. "I'm so sorry." He cried, I held him close. "Lily even got James to forgive you." I mutter with a small laugh. He laughs before pulling away, "I don't doubt that." He mutters before nodding, he walks back to McGonagall.

"Lily made you soft, Lupin." Sirius teases while slinging an arm on my shoulders. "I know, never again though." I mutter, Regulus comes up behind us and smacks Sirius in the head. "Ow, bloody hell, Reg." Sirius groans while I suppress a laugh. "Paws off, Pad." Regulus teases before kissing my lips. "Gross!" Sirius and Remus shout at the same time. I glare at them before leaning into Regulus. "Don't say gross. This and a lot more of it got you two a niece or nephew." Regulus states before kissing my red cheek. Remus and Sirius roll their eyes before we all hear a loud pop from the other side of the grass. "Dumbledore's here." I mutter, Regulus grabs my hand and Sirius and Remus stand close.
