Violet's pov

A few days later

"Mom! I need help!" Grace shouted from her room. "AUNTIE! She's putting on a dress!" Draco shouted after her. "It's summer git!" Grace argued. "NO! It's because Freddie is coming!" Harry shouted. "SHUT UP! Both of you!" Grace shouted. I walked up the stairs and noticed the three gryffindors facing each other. Draco and Harry have their hands crossed while Grace has her hands on her hips. "I think you look lovely, Grace." I stated, pulling them out of their stare off. "What's with all the yelling?" Regulus asked, walking behind me and kissing my cheek. "GRACE IS WEARING A DRESS!" Harry and Draco shout together. Grace crossed her arms and glared at the two boys.

"Mom, please?" Grace mumbled. Regulus took the boys' side, I glared at him before smacking his head. Draco and Harry ran off to their rooms, leaving Regulus by himself. "If you are wearing that, your butt stays on the couch or the floor. Understood?" Regulus questioned sternly. Grace smiled and kissed her dad's cheek, "Of course dad!" Grace cheered before dragging me to her room. "Mom, can you curl my hair. I can do it, but you do it better." Grace stated before plopping herself on her vanity stool. I smiled and curled her hair.

"Mom?" Grace muttered, "Yes, love?" I answered, still curling her hair. "Did you start liking boys in your second year?" She questioned, looking up at me in the mirror. "Yes love. I thought many boys were cute, if your uncle let me I would have dated in my second year. Draco and Harry are acting the same way Uncle Moony acted. They just care for you." I explained, she nodded before her dad came in. "Ron and Ginny are in Harry's room with Draco. Molly and the twins are in the kitchen." Regulus announced, Grace's eyes lit up. "Go say hello to Ron and Ginny first, then Mrs. Wealesy. Got it?" He ordered, making Grace's smile falter a bit, but she nodded.

Grace ran to hug Ron and Ginny, Regulus and I walked down the stairs together. Fred and George tackled me into a tight hug. "Boys, it's only been a few days." I laughed while placing a kiss in their cheeks. "We still missed you," George stated, "And we'll be leaving all summer basically." Fred added. I smiled and rubbed their cheeks with my thumb. Grace hopped off the last step and gave Molly a hug. "Hi Georgie!" Grace greeted, Fred looked at me then at Regulus, he saw the smirk on Regulus' face. Fred whispered in my ear, "You better hurry then her uncles will be here." I laughed, he nodded and smirked at Regulus. "Hello, gorgeous!" Fred greeted looking at Grace. "Hey Freddie." Grace greeted shyly. Fred winked at Regulus before kissing Grace's cheek and pulling her up the stairs. "HEY!" Regulus yelled, I stepped in front of him.

Fred came back down with Grace on his back, Regulus looked at me. "Of course you helped him." He groaned, I laughed. Regulus smirked at me and lifted me over his shoulder, "REG!" I shouted, hitting his back. "I hate being off the ground!" I yelled, Fred and Grace laughed. Regulus threw me up and caught me in a cradle position. "I hate you." I mumbled, Regulus winked at Fred and Grace before kissing me. "I love you too, Violet." He mumbled before kissing me again. Remus and Sirius showed up through the floo, "Uncle Pad! Uncle Moony!" Grace cheered, hoping off of Fred's back and running to her uncles. They lifted her on their shoulders.

As they walked by Fred Sirius patted his back, "Just remember her father and us will always be her favorite." Sirius smirked. I leaned over and smacked him, "Stop it. All of you." I pointed at Draco and Harry who were glaring at Fred. Fred snuggled his way against my side, I held him close to me. Regulus furrowed his brows at Fred, Fred kissed my cheek before grabbing Grace and plopping both of them on the couch. Grace cuddled up to Fred, wrapped an arm around her waist and kissed her temple. "You look beautiful." He whispered slightly. Grace turned bright red, Sirius and Remus were eyeing her.
