"Mani, please mujhe dar lag raha hai" she said her eyes still closed
She felt him taking deep breaths near her face
"Mani Please" she pleaded again as he kept taking deep breaths
"What's the safe word again Jaan?" he asked her, his voice back to normal
"Mani" she said and felt his lips on her forehead she could feel he was smiling
"Mani is sorry to scare Jaan" he said kissing her forehead again but she trembled
"Mani gussa mat karo" she said in a small voice nodding a NO, he looked at her, leaning there on the dresser, closing her eyes tightly, her lips trembled and she left a sob. Seeing her like this Manik hugged her
"Mani gussa mat karo please" she pleaded not hugging him back he felt she was shivering with fear, he felt it
"Main gussa nahi hu, Jaan" she said patting the back of head
"Nahi please, gussa maat karo" she pleaded. He knew she was scared of his anger but she had always stood like a rock infront of it but first time she was so scared of him, this meant, she was hiding something from him, something very big.
"Baby" he said breaking the hug, and cupping her face
"Baby please, please akhen kholo" he asked her softly and she nodded no
"Nandini. I promise, tumhe jo bhi bolna main aram se sununga, main gussa bhi nahi karunga" he said. It made him wonder was she the same girl who shredded Sameer Dhanraj this afternoon...
"Nandini" he called her name and she opened her eyes only for two big tear drop from them and now she was crying
"Nandini rona band karo" he said wiping her tears with his thumb
"Manik" she said looking down at his feet
"Gussa mat karna" she said again looking like a scared kitten. He knew now she was going to tell him and he knew that it was something which will make him mad
"Nahi karunga" he assured her. He held her shoulder and made her sit on the bed and kneeled infront of her, all this while her eyes were fixed on the ground
"Nandini, yaha dekho. Main promise kar raha hu main nahi nahi karunga gussa. But mujhe sab bato" she looked at him and then slid down from the bed sitting on the ground. Manik gave space to her. She kept her knees up and held his hand
"Pakka?" she asked him going restless
"Pakka" he said and joined her forehead with his, his left hand was held in her right and his right hand cupped her left cheek
"Breath Nandini" he instructed her seeing her condition
"Breath" he repeated softly and saw her trying to match his breathing
