When Manik entered he saw the girl sitting in a corner taking support of the wall and holding Manas close to her. He looked around and saw a part of the living room decorated with shades blue cloth giving a wave effect. There were shells, fishes, other ocean creatures and plants added for decoration. There was an ocean there cake also untouched. A seven was made with shells.
"Mi... Ni... Go... Go... Mi" Manas was saying something. Manik stepped in towards him. Raj came behind him. Nandini flinched back holding Manas and this was noticed by all three.
"He is not going to take Manas" Neyonika said softly
"I am" Manik said and Nandini looked at him. "I have leagal rights on the baby. I am taking him with me. Don't you think I will listen to them" Manik said
"Naa... Mi... Boo... Booo..." Manas said to Nandini. Neyonika and Raj looked at him lovingly and Manik smiled. He bent down on his
"Hey Buddy" Manik said softly and Manas and Nandini both looked at him. Manik opened his arms and moved his fingers as if asking Manas to come to him. Nandini saw his soft eyes, his adoring eyes on Manas and her heart almost melted. Manas stared at Manik but then he just tunres his face and his in Nandini's arms. Nandini saw Manik looked hurt. And then she remembered Manik snatching Manas from her and taking him away even though Manas kept wailing in his arms.
She got up with Manas in her arm and said "No you are not taking him" Manik looked up and glared at her. He stood up and now Nandini looked up and glared at him. She had rested Manas and such that Manik was not facing Manik, nor he could see anything.
"I will, legal custody laya hu main. Tum rokogi mujhe? Kaise? Janti ho main kon hu" Manik took sa step close to her to scare her but she did back of
"Apni gandi shakal, do rupe ki akal aur charso kilo ka attitude leke niklo yaha se Manik Malhotra" Nandini pointed the door. Manik looked taken aback. Neyonika and Raj shocked looked at her

A slap resonated the Murty house and Neyonika and Raj looked at each other
"Chup!" Nandini said pointing at Manik and he looked at her stunned. She slapped him! "You will not disrespect me. Na main tumhari koi hu, na tu mere koi. Dare you use any derogatory word for me" she said and Manik looked at her stunned and shocked.
"Get out!" she pointed the door again
"Dekho beta" Raj intervene stopping their argument "Stop fighting. Hum baat kar sakte hai" Raj said
"Baat? Uncle yeh mere ghar police le aaya. Manas ko kich ke leke Jaa raha tha. Woh itna ro raha tha, isse kuch nahi laga. I was pinned down. I am not letting my brother's son to stay with an insensitive, unconcerned, asshole like him" Nandini said looking at Manik with sharp eyes. Neyonika looked at the girl with an unfanthomable emotion in her eyes. She looked at Manik. He was livid, she could see he was livid. His eyes were red he was looking at Nandini like he will kill her. But then she saw his fist close. He was clenching and unclenching it. She looked at Manas but then she noticed Manik was not even looking at Manas but Nandini. Manik was stopping himself to hurt this girl, why? Manik took a deep breath
"Enough" Manik said dangerously calm. "Enough. We informed you, I have his custody, you now give him to me" Manik said and took Manas again from Nandini. This time when Manas started to cry Manik cooed him. He was crying and Nandini was going to take him but Manik showed her hand
Nandini looked at him. Tears threathed to fall from her eyes but she didn't let them fall. She went and got the cake which was on the floor. The Malhotras looked at her actions. She took Manas hand and Manas stopped to cry. She took his hand and smashed the cake. Manas smiled naughtily and then started to smash it then smudged it all around his face while eating eat.
