It was a week since Manik and Nandini were working together. Manik enter the house post jog to see Nandini alone sitting on the dining table in a track suit and having her breakfast
"Mom kaha hai?" he asked her and sat besides her as she eat grapes one by one.
"You don't know?" she said looking at him with a small frown still eating grapes and he shrugged copying her frown
"Maa and Mom went to a trip with some of NGO ladies" she told him taking orange from the basket and peeling it
"Oh she told me" he said remembering his mother mentioning about the weekend trip
"Toh what is your plan?" Manik asked and Nandini shurgged
"Would you like to spend weekend with me?" he asked unsure himself
Nandini stopped all her actions and turned to him in slow motion
"What!" she asked with a frown again
"What will we do together?" she asked curious now
"What do you want to do? Movie? Dinner? Anything" he said
"Anything!?" she asked excited
"Haan" Manik said now not getting her excitement
"Ok" she said and clapped her hand bubbling with excitement and happiness. Manik smiled seeing a child in her.
"Eat, eat" she said putting a plate in front of him and then said "We have to eat, get ready and then go" she said and he just smiled looking at her excited like a child who is having school trip
Manik wore khakhi color jeans and olive green colour casual shirt when he saw Nandini come out wearing brown pants and light parrot color tshirt. Manik observed they were color coordinating unintentionally.
"Hum kaha ja rahe hai?" he asked
"Aapke paas koi gadi hai jo main chala sakti hu?" she asked him combing her hairs
"Tumhe car chalane aati hai?" Manik asked and Nandini turned to him
"I mean doubt nahi le raha puch raha hu" Manik quickly added
"Aati hai" she said grining and there Manik smiled too seeing her
"Challe?" Manik asked and she nodded excited. Manik was very curious seeing her so excited.
He walked her down the basement and went to a cupboard. She saw him opening it and taking the keys as she looked at him curious. After taking the keys Manik walked her to the car which was covered. A butler run past him and removed the cover as Nandini's jaw wide open
"Mrs Malhotra" Manik called with a smirk seeing her expressions
"Aapki sawari" he said and she looked at him with twinkling, unbelievable eyes.
There stood a BMW z4 san francisco red. Nandini looked at the car and then Manik. Manik tossed the Keys to her and she caught it. He looked impressed saying "Ab pata nahi kaha le jaa rahi ho... I can't risk the other convertibles or open cars" he said and Nandini looked at him more stunned
"Manik" she called his name
"Kya?" he said seeing her doubtful face
"You want me to drive this?" he asked
"Office... Ab chalo bhi" he said walking to the passanger seat. Nandini looked at him, then at keys and then walked to the car.
"Hum kaha Jaa rahe hai?" Manik asked as he saw Nandini leve Mumbai and speed towards Pune
