Nandini took Aayesha's blood and her husband was sitting next to her bed on a stool.
"Dr Nandini you won't leave my case right" Ayesha asked but Nandini said nothing and did her work
"Dr Nandini please" Ayesha said scared now
Nandini sighed "Ayesha" she said softly "You know you baby could have died" Nandini informed her and Ayesha grasped "If the car would have hit you even a inch or two left your baby could have died but thankfully that's not the case. You want to save a man like that?" Nandini asked her softly "You want your baby to have a father like that?" she asked and Arun stood up.
"Hello doctor, social worker banne ki zaroorat nahi hai and don't manipulate my wife. Police complaint kar dunga" he said threatening Nandini and just then police came to Ayesha
"Mrs Desai we are here to take your offical statement jo hume Manik Malhotra ke khilaf arrest warrant issue karne mein help karega. Please give your statement" the inspector said and Ayesha looked at Nandini and then Arun
"Sir I was doing my nomal evening walk that my doctors have prescribed me. Arun was with me. We had a difference of opinion and started to argue. Arun in anger pushed me with full intend in the busy road. The car coming my way took a sharp turn and banged into the divider. My husband is not happy with this pregnancy and he keeps removing his anger on me. I want give my statement and request you to take action against Arun Desai, my husband for attempt to murder on me and my baby" Ayesha said and looked at Arun sharply
"I have even being subjected to domestic violence" Ayesha added and Nandini looked at her shocked
"She is lying" Arun said "This doctor has manipulated her to save her husband" Arun said taking a step towards Nandini "You bitch sab tere vajhse ho raha hai" he said charging at Nandini. Nandini got in a defensive position and even the police went to stop him but before Arun can hit Nandini he was pulled and pinned to the wall. Manik's hand went around his neck
"Mere biwi ko chot pochane ki soch bhi kaise rakhi tune" Manik said dangerously, his one hand in a sling and other around Arun's neck. His veins were popping out in anger. Arun pressed Manik's injured hand making Manik whinched in pain and Nandini rushed to Manik. She separated Manik and pulled him back she held his hand in hers
"Dard ho Raha hai?" she asked worried. Arun was going to pull Nandini's hairs but Manik punched him saying "Muh tod dunga salle" the hospital security and the police came and took Arun down
"Tum thik ho?" Manik asked Nandini
"Tum thik ho?" Nandini ingnored and asked him panicked. Rihand came to Manik and checked his hand
"It's fine. Hairline hi hai, woh bhi accident se. Let's get an x ray still" he took Manik with him and Nandini was going to go with them but she stopped and turned to Ayesha. She went and hugged Ayesha
"What you did was brave" Nandini said and Ayesha felt warm. "Ayesha!" they both turned to see a young man an his late 20s
"Bhai" Aayesha said and he came rushing to Ayesha. Nandini stepped back and he hugged Ayesha. Nandini told him whatever happened
"Thank you doctor Nandini" Aayesha's brother said. Nandini nodded and left them with each other.
She rushed to the other side and and saw Manik sitting there moving his injured hand
"What did you do!" Nandini came marching on him
"I saved you" Manik said
"I can save myself Manik Malhotra" she yelled at him
"He was going to hurt you" he said
"And he hurt you Manik" she said holding his hand carefully and looked all him with tearful eyes
