Manik was making an omelet when he heard the door bell ring. He looked at the watch it was eight in the morning
"Who could it be so early?" he thought putting of the stove. When Nandini walked off and closed the door. She has not walked out of it after that. Usually on work day she would be up and ready by now. Manik knew he had hurt her and wanted to give her her space so he didn't go to check on her
The door bell rang again this time more aggressively.
"Kahi yeh chipku Samar toh nahi... Aaj isse chodunga nahi" he said and open the door.
Manik and the person kept looking at each other in shock
"Nandini!" Saloni yelled her name from the door in shock and Manik cringed with the yell
"Tum yaha kya kar rahi ho?" Manik asked rolling his eyes
"Tum yaha kya kar rahe ho? Yeh meri dost ka ghar hai" Saloni said
"Nandini!" she called again and tried to get in but Manik blocked her way
As she moved her left Manik moved his right and as she moved her right Manik moved his left not letting her enter the house
"Nandini!" she called Nandini again this time irritated by Manik but she didn't come out
"Kya kiya tumhe Nandu ko? I knew something was wrong!" Saloni said and tried to enter the house again but Manik blocked her way
"Tum mere ghar mein nahi aa sakti" Manik said and Saloni looked at him suprised with an open mouth
"Tumhara ghar? Yeh Nandini ka ghar hai!" she said
"Aur mera bhi" Manik said
"Tumne Nandu se shadi kar li! Hey Bhgawans! Kab? Kaise? Uss ne mujhe bataya kyu nahi?" Saloni said
"Nandini!" She called again
"Chup!" Manik shouted on her and she flinched back suddenly all quite and scared. She looked at Manik. Manik saw her fearful eyes and remembered his last meet with her in the hospital
"Main bas usse milne aayi thi. She doesn't miss sessions uss ne kal ka session skip kiy. Manik mera aur koi intention nahi tha please mujhe Nandini se milna hai..." she whispered ranted and half of it Manik couldn't hear
"Sallo" Anukush called and Manik shifted his eyes from Saloni to Ankush
"Baby" Saloni said nd ran and hid behind Ankush peeping at Manik. Manik smirk seeing her so scared. She should be last time he almost had shaking with fear. Then Manik glared at Anukush
"Baby dentist... What are you doing here with your psycho wife?" Manik asked folding his hands near his chest
"Tell him I am a physiologist" Saloni whispered to Anukush
"We are here to meet Nandini, so let us" Anukush said looking at Manik. Manik and him kept looking at each other. None breaking their eye lock. Finally Manik moved inside without saying anything
That all walked in and Saloni directly went to Nandini's room and started knocking the door calling her name.
Nandini opened her door all dishaved
"What are you doing here?" Nandini asked a bit rude a bit suprised
"I came to meet you..." And before Saloni can say anything else Nandini walked to the living room where Manik was vaccum cleaning the floor and Ankush was sitting on the sofa holding a cushion near his chest
