"I can't move" Nandini said and Manik turned to her "I just can't move, you monster" she tried to hit him but winched. He chuckled coming close to her. "Did you just break some of my bones or what?" she asked and he chuckled more. "Stop laughing you monster" she said hitting him with pillow. He came closer and started to move his hand but she stopped him
"I'll massage I promise" Manik said
"No don't you. I know, you won't stop at massage" she said and shoved his hand away.
"Ok ok" he said and pulled her into his arms. He wrapped the duvate around her properly and turned her to him. He kissed her forehead
"Monster kahi ka" she said and he chuckled more
"Hu main monster" he said keeping his face close to her. "But kabhi tumhare saath monster jaise behave kiya hai?" he asked. She looked at him "Other than on bed" he added and she glared.
"School ke first day" she said "Phir jab Cabir aaya toh you threw my bag" she added
"Tabhi I didn't know you na. Acche se." he said
"Ok" Nandini said agreeing with his point. And thought harder
"At our first college treck. You left me alone near that stream." she reminded him
"I had sent Cabir par tum Abhimanyu ke saath aa gayi uss mein uss ki aur meri kya galti." he said and Nandini looked at him.
"Ok once" he said counting on his fingers
"At your engagement day with Aliya" she said and he glared at her
"That was because I wanted you safe" he saidn "And I didn't know you were having our babies in there" he said touching her belly.
"Ok fine" she said rolling her eyes.
"Haa. That day in cafe. Mera haath pakad aur bola na don't you get angry on me" she said and he looked at her
"Sorry" he said remembering that incident
"Kyu Kiya tumne Aisa?" she asked
"You were acting so formal and all. Aur tumne lift ke liye na bola, and you were cold. You were behaving as if mera fault hai jabki you pretended to be dead for all these years" he told her
"I didn't pretend. Mere ko pata hi nahi tha that you think I am dead" she said
"Haan phir I understood na, mera fault tha, gussa nahi hona chahiye tha" he said and she nodded
"But even I assumed you were with Aliya so it's even" she said
"So you have been an ingronant monster once" she said and he nodded. But Nandini noticed he was no longer listening to her properly but he was doing something on her stomach. He was making a ball in air and trying to determine it's size
"Kya kar rahe ho?" she asked
"Was you baby bump big. Twin the toh big hoga na?" he said getting up trying to imagine it on her.
"It was this big" she said showing him how big her bump was
"Itne choti space mein kaise rahe humare babies?" he asked
"Wait" Nandini got up. She made a painful face and Manik helped her sit and then she took her phone and showed him pictures. Manik kept looking
"You look so cute" he said seeing her photos "Aawww mera golu molu" he said picking her cheek
"Manik!" she whinned
"You look so cute, cutie" he said cupping her face and kissing her forehead.
"Sad mat ho" she said hugging him knowing he was feeling guilty and sad.
