"Manik apni bakwas band karo" Bhaskar stood up in anger
"Bakwas kaisi? Ask Nandini. Bolo Sunshine aren't we married?" Manik turned to Nandini and she just glared at him
"Koi baat nahi" Manik said and removed his phone. He showed Varun's family "Yeh hu main, yeh woh. Dekho you can also see Mahir Bhai, my elder brother and Niharika Bhabhi, her elder sister, my Bahbhi" Manik said showing the picture.
Varun's parents and relatives glared at Bhaskar.
"We did not come from Banglore for this" they left in anger
Manik grinned when Bhaskar saw the phone on Manik's phone. Bhaskar held Manik's collar
"What the hell did you just do?" Bhaskar asked Manik
"Told everyone the truth. Ab Nandini ki shadi kisi se nahi hogi" Manik said
"This is what you wanted? To make my daughter stay alone in this house all her life. Arey uss ki life aise hi barabad kar chuke ho tum aur tumhari family. What else do you want?" Bhaskar said throwing Manik out of the house. Cabir and Abhi held Manik and not let him fall flat on the floor.
Nandini took a step to go towards the door when her arm was held and she was turned. Before she could even say or do anything Nalini slapped Nandini hard. There was silence for a whole second
"Mimi"
"Nandini" Manas and Manik said protectively.
"Take him away" Bhaskar said
Nalini slapped Nandini again and Manik saw this. He tried to break free from Abhi and Cabir's grip when Bhaskar closed the door
"Nandini!" Manik called getting out of the grip and banging the door. The neighbours were looking, seeing what happened and started gossiping.
"Amms kya kar rahe ho aap" Manas tried to stop Nalini who was continuously hitting Nandini. "Amma stopped" Manas hugged Nandini trying to protect her but before Nalini even by mistake hits Manas, Nandini took the hit on her back
"Mimi!" Manas cried
"Nandini!" Manik yelled from outside
"Nalini enough!" Bhaskar said "Nandini go to your room" he added. Nandini was hugging Manas and Manas was hugging her. Nandini tried to break the hug but Manas didn't let her go. Nandini hugged Manas tightly.
"Nandini!" Manik banged the door
"Manik chal" Cabir said
"Woh maar sahi hai uss ko! Nandini!" Manik banged the door louder
"Manik you are druk! Chal!" abhi said pulling him away from the door
"Amma maar Rahi hai Nandini ko Abhi chod" Manik tried to break free
"Tu yeh karega toh they will hurt her more" Cabir said and as the words were processed by Manik he stopped fighting and looked at Cabir
"No... No" he said alarmed
"Than chal" Cabir said and Manik looked at him with glassy eyes.

"You should go home" Nandini said as Manas nodded no. He was still hugging her. The were on the bed in her room. She creased Manas' hairs "Aisa mat kar nom nom" Nandini said calling him for the nick name when he was a toddler. He used to say 'nom nom' when he was hungry. Manas snuggled in her motherly warm
"I won't go, what if they hurt you" Manas said scared
"They won't" Nandini told him as if cooing him yet Manas nodded no. "Tu nahi gaya, toh your Dadu will send police here. Amma Appa are already tensed. Please Manas" Nandini said
