"Yeh konsa ghar hai?" Nandini said looking at the door her broker was unlocking
"Ji yeh apka ghar hai madam" the broker said
"Par Pinky ji apne toh baju wali wing mein flat dikhaya tha" she said wiggling her eyebrows
"Same ghar hai madam" he said and opened the door.
Nandini walked in. It was a well furnished apartment with gold and white theme with a combination of wood. It was elegant and she was impressed
"Accha hai na?" Pinky ji asked her
"Hain toh par koi rehta hai kya yaha?" she asked
"Haan ji madam ji woh jinka Yeh ghar hai na woh jayda kar ke ghar par hote nahi hai aur unki maa ne mujhe yeh jimmedari di hai ki main unke liye ek anukul housemate dundh du" Pinky ji said as Nandini looked at him
"Par Pinky ji maine apko bola tha mujhe apne liye ek jagaha chahiye" Nandini whined
"Dekhiye madam aapka jo budget hai uss hisab se toh yeh accha hai, yaha ka toh rent sabse kaam hai kuyki owner ko paise ki koi jarurat nahi hai woh bas unki Mata ji hai jo unn par dabav dale ja rahi hai. Upar se ghar saf karne, khana banane ke liye maid bhi hai apko koi chinta nahi, aur malik kabhi kabhi hi ghar ate hai" he said and Nandini thought about it
"Aur aab toh apne agreement sign bhi kar diya hai aur paise bhi de diye hai" he added
"Par woh uss wale ghar ke liye tha" she said referring to the house he had shown a day Before. It was a 1BHK, little but spacious, located in the opposite wing
"Aab madam ji jo hai yeh hai" Pinky said and Nandini wanted to strangle him.
"Mera kamra konsa hai?" she asked not wanting to argue
"Yeh wala" Pinky ji moved forward to a door. Nandini noticed it was a three bedroom, kitchen apartment but when Pinky ji took her to the left she noticed it has two more rooms. Pretty big for one person to live in she thought.
Pinky ji uses another key and opens the left door for her. This room was on the farthest corner of the house. Like in isolation but she didn't linger on that thought. She entered the room. It had plain white walls and one wall was painted yellow with few paintings on it. It had a balcony which excited her.
"Yeh aap ka kamra hai, aur kuch hai toh bata de" she heard Pinky ji and just nodded. After showing her the room and explaining her few things Pinky ki left.
Nandini stepped in the balcony and looked at the view. It was nothing but deserted land, no buildings. The land was under government and no construction was supposed to be done there. Also the balcony was such that no other apartments could get a view of it. The apartment being on the 25th floor also helped for privacy. Enjoying the view Nandini walked in and started to set her things up.
She first settled her clothes in the cupboard, then her accessories on the dressing table, her few books on the book shelf in the corner and her toiletries in the bathroom. When she was done she had an urge to have a coffee. So she made her way to find the kitchen. She didn't noticed it was already dark outside
She made her coffee and took a brown cup and then poured the coffee in it. Taking the hot steaming coffee she just walked out of the kitchen only to bang into someone
"Fuck!" the person exclaimed as a hot burning coffee spilled on his chest.
What came in Nandini's view was a well toned six pack body burning because of her coffee
"I am sorry " she said suddenly jumpy and clean the coffee off the body with long sleeves of her sweater
"Aiyyo I am so sorry" she said blowing air to give the person some relief but failed to see the person had stiffen under her touch
