"the TS-19 samples are gone." jenner was talking to his video camera as carter walked in, talking about the loss of the TS-19 samples towards whoever was listening. although he didn't believe that anyone was.
jenner than began to blabber drunker statements that carter simply ignored because she was used to it.
suddenly the two heard noise from outside the front of the building.
followed by doctor carter, jenner moved over to the computer that held live video from the front of the cdc.
"jenner... we have to let them in." carter told the man of authority, knowing from the look plastered in his face that he didn't want too.
"no! no..." he dismissed her, then telling the people to leave although he only said it to himself. "just go away."
the man who wore a sheriff's uniform began to shake the door. "i know your in there." he began. "i know you can hear me. please we are desperate." he continued.
"jenner you have to let them in, they have children!" doctor carter defended.
"we have women, children, no food, hardly any gas left." the man was pleading desperately until who carter presumed to be his wife tried to stop him.
"jenner please..." the female scientists tried once more, but he didn't respond.
not being able to watch the group's desperation anymore, doctor carter pulled out her gun and put it to jenner's head.
"open the doors." she demanded him, hands shaking as she did so. the young brunette who still wore her white lab coat wasn't sure if she would be able to shoot jenner if needed, maybe just hit him with the gun instead.
luckily for her it didn't come to that as jenner slowly opened up the front doors of the cdc to these strangers, a shocked look plastered on his face at the younger doctor's bravery.
