"yes glenn, i'm going out today to help find sophia." marcella told glenn, knowing that he had no control over her. except that wasn't the truth, because glenn has all of the control over marcella's heart.

after a second of silence between the two, glenn spoke up again. "okay just... please be careful. i can't watch you get hurt out there." marcella grinned at glenn's warmth towards her.

"don't worry glenn, you won't be there to watch me get hurt." she stated sarcastically.

glenn wanted more than anything for marcella to stay safe on the farm, but he knew that he had no right to tell her what she can and can't risk.

hershel refused to allow rick and shane to go out today with their injuries, yet daryl insisted on still going and he wasn't the only one.

"-guess it's just me. i'm gonna head back to the creek." marcella overheard as she jogged back to the small group.

"count me in, we can cover more ground together, plus you need someone looking out for you, especially in the current circumstance." she tried to convince an unconvinced daryl.

"fine, but don't be gettin' in my way." he warned marcella and she laughed slightly, unfazed by daryl's loner act.

"so like, i'll go that way and you go that way right?" marcella nervously questioned daryl as she knew he would want to search for sophia himself. the older man ignored the young scientist, however taking his assigned route as he walked away.

"cool." the brunette who was beginning to grow cold due to having left glenn's hoodie at their tent, muttered to herself.

marcella's experience searching for the little girl was a pretty uneventful one, to begin with. she climbed many rocks, causing scratches and scrapes to be added to her body. with every new rock. she also shouted sophia's name as she reached new areas that the girl might possibly inhabit. and of course marcella killed walkers, although she didn't enjoy it, she was glad that she was getting the practice.

but then, as marcella cupped her hands around her mouth and shouted "sophia" one last time, two strong arms grabbed her from behind.
