marcella and glenn broke away from eachother immediately, once they heard maggie's yelling. but the two held eye contact, fear and lust present in both's eyes.

maggie shortly approaching, glenn pulled marcella's form off of the barn wall, the two now standing next to eachother.

"you weren't supposed to see this." maggie stated, out of breath from running from the house.

the walkers inside were now banging furiously on the barn doors, trying to get to the three living people outside of them.

"wha-what is this, maggie?" marcella spoke up, her eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

"my daddy... he thinks they're sick, thinks he can save them. they're my family, family friends and just random people." maggie explains to the pair, trying to make what she didn't particularly agree with seem at least somewhat reasonable.

"right." and with that marcella was gone, walking off towards her tent with glenn not far behind.

in silence, the two young adults stared up to the ceiling, fear and worry causing their breathing patterns to fall uneven.

"glenn?" marcella called for the boy next to her.

"yeah."

"it's not as safe as we thought here, everything is different now." she conveyed her worry as best as she could. marcella's voice was sore from her rather loud argument with glenn, earlier.

glenn grabbed marcella's hand as they both stared up at the ceiling of their tent.

"i'm not gonna let anything happen to you, el. i promise." he then turned towards the girl who lay next to him, she turned towards him too.

the young adults just stared at eachother, both of them trying to figure out what comes next- not just for the barn situation and the situation with lori's pregnancy, but also for the two of them; the kiss proved to both of them that they were more than best friends, but neither understood the length of their feelings for the other yet.

things were about to get complicated, in more ways than one.
