checking the map again, lori let out a soft sigh.

"i can read the map, if it helps." marcella suggests, trying to be of use. however lori just shook her head briefly, not looking away from the map.

"i got it." the older of the two blew off the younger one.

lori became so focussed on the map as she drove forwards, not having to pay much attention to the road as it was a straight shot, that she didn't notice the walker that had stumbled out infront of her. however, marcella did notice.

"lori!" she shouted, immediately grabbing onto the steering wheel to attempt to swerve the being that wasn't going to remove itself.

despite marcella's attempt to miss the dead man, the car crashed into him. lori attempted to regain control of the car as it skidded across the road. but to the two woman's fears, they hit the hedges, causing them to fly into the air as the car began flipping over repeatedly. sending the two woman into the darkness as their bodies were violently thrashed around the tiny car.

as marcella's vision grew blurry, a high pitched noise pierced her ears, she could feel it vibrate throughout her whole body, as if her body was about to explode. the young woman fought to keep her heavy eyes from closing, although she couldn't fight it for long. marcella tried pushing herself over to an unconscious lori, yet as she tried to manoeuvre her body, marcella felt as though she was underwater; the air felt thick and as though it was slowing her movements down.

all that marcella cared about, as she fought to stay in her conscious state, was glenn and that's when she realised how much she really loves him.

despite marcella's attempts to fight it, the darkness swallowed her, just as it had taken lori.

and their they lay- unconscious.
