as marcella approached the house, she noticed glenn on the porch, guitar in hand as he strummed it lightly. the green eyed woman could tell that glenn was stuck deep in thought.

"do you actually know how to play that thing?" she questioned with an amused expression.

glenn looked up to the girl. "no. dale found it on the highway." glenn admitted, a small smile on his face at just the sight of marcella.

marcella walked over to the young man, gesturing for the guitar as she took the seat next to him. glenn handed it to her, intrigued by the idea of her being able to play.

after checking if the guitar was tuned (which it fortunately was), marcella began to play. glenn could tell as marcella strummed the instrument, that it came naturally to her. but what he didn't expect, was for the woman that he already idolised to begin singing along with it.

"Hey there, Delilah
What's it like in New York city?
I'm a thousand miles away
But, girl, tonight you look so pretty
Yes, you do
Time square can't shine as bright as you
I swear, it's true
Hey there, Delilah
Don't you worry about the distance
I'm right there if you get lonely
Give this song another listen
Close your eyes
Listen to my voice, it's my disguise
I'm by your side
Oh, it's what you do to me
Oh, it's what you do to me
Oh, it's what you do to me
Oh, it's what you do to me
What you do to me"

marcella finished there, scared that she was annoying glenn, yet in reality he would pay any amount of money to hear her sing again.

"el, that was amazing." marcella then looked at glenn who carried a bright smile as he stared back at her.

"you know, i always wanted to move to new york city. never happened though, obviously." marcella began, feeling vulnerable telling someone about her past. but it was glenn and marcella knew that she could trust glenn with everything.

"we'll move to new york city together, get a run down apartment and party all weekend, travel around the city and have the coolest view of time square from a window in our apartment." glenn told marcella, as if that was a choice that the two had.

"i want nothing more than that, glenn." marcella told the smiling boy, placing her head on his shoulder.
