I woke up the next morning still having my lip virginity. Well, my Alec lip virginity. The date, I mean "non-date" was super awkward after that. We finished the movie without talking very much. He turned his phone back on after the movie to check who called, but he wouldn't tell me. He said it wasn't very important, but I think I had a good idea of who it was.
We exited the theater and just talked about how "scary" it was. It really wasn't. The plot was like a C minus and the acting was even worse. There were hot guys in it though, and they didn't die until the movie was almost over. That was the only reason I stayed, well and Alec. Well, until the awkward moment happened, then I was ready to leave. We got back to his car and this time I was happy that his annoying Top 40 noises were blasting, so that we didn't have to talk about the awkwardness.
We got to my house and I exited the vehicle. He didn't even walk me to the door. I guess he didn't want to give the weirdness another try. I didn't really want to either. Yeah, the rest of that night was boring. I checked Tumblr for a tiny bit and then called Amy to complain. I told her everything and she also seemed mad, but said that it really seemed like he liked me. Examples are that he was a little upset when I ruined it in the photo booth and then in the theater he told me that it broke his heart when he couldn't hang out with me. I guess he did like me.
I threw the covers off and marched over to the bathroom. I washed my face and you know, took care of my business. I tiptoed over to my parent's room and pressed my ear to the door. I guess they were still sleeping. Thank the lord. I walked downstairs and went into the kitchen. Hmmm, I could guilt my mother into making me a big breakfast by saying that I felt neglected and alone because she and Dad left for so long. No, I did that the last ten times. It was probably at its quota.
I looked over at the clock and it was 10:45. At this time last week I was at church with Shelly. I think you all remember how that went down? Yeah, I told her this week that I wasn't feeling very well. She offered to bring some of her homemade remedy. I told her that my mom had it covered. Plus, I didn't want to try it. She probably made it with holy water. I don't think that would taste well. She then asked about Amy and I told her that it was Amy's father's birthday and that they went somewhere to celebrate. Next week I was planning on using my mother's birthday, then Amy's mother's birthday the week after and then it was Amy's turn to be sick the week after and I was going to take care of her. Something like that. By then, I was hoping that Shelly got the point.
Bang, bang, bang. I heard a knock at the door. Okay, it was more of a punch. I walked over and opened the door to reveal Stella and that Ollie guy. Their faces started to turn red and they busted out laughing. I looked down to see that I forgot that I was still wearing my mustache pajamas. Yes, I wear pajamas and they have a bunch of little mustaches on them. I never told you because, who the hell would admit that? Amy got me them last year at the hipster store. Let's just stop talking about this.
"Dude, what the hell are you wearing?" Stella giggled.
"Nothing. You see nothing," I said waving my hands in front of their face.
"Uh, how old are you?" Oliver asked with suppressed laughter.
"Old enough to know that purple and green don't go together," I pointed at his outfit. "You look like fricken Barney."
"Oh, damn," Stella yelled, fist bumping me.
"Respect. You're alright. Now go change," Ollie demanded.
"Uh, why?" I questioned.
"We have come to rescue you, once again!" Stella cheered.
"Oh, and you decided to use the door this time," I glowered.
