“You can’t! How dare she force you to do this! I can’t let you! Let me at her, I’ll show her a little something,” Amy yelled as she was driving us to school. It was the next morning. After I told her, she wouldn’t stop blabbing on about it. After the overlook, the entire ride home was comprised of her saying bad words and shouting. Once I got into my house, she called me and then continued to display her anger. Now I have to deal with it in the car ride to school. Here’s to hoping Natalia is sick today so that Amy doesn’t rip her head off.
“Don’t,” I finally spoke. “You can’t let her know that I told you.”
“Oh I will let her know. Then I’ll punch her in her most likely fake boobs,” Amy growled.
“I’m serious. She said I couldn’t tell anyone. If she found out that I told you, she would pull the plug.”
“That’s not fair! Either way she wins. If you don’t do it, then she has something against you. If you do it, then I think that’ll hurt even more. She can’t do that. There has to be a way for you to win.”
I didn’t answer her. Her gaze was set on me once we parked. I turned away. She continued to watch me. The engine stopped and I could hear her remove her keys. I opened my door and jumped out and then closed it. I walked to the trunk and grabbed my bag. She did the same.
“Can I see it?” she inquired. I opened my bag and pulled out a crumpled up piece of paper and handed it to her. She unraveled it. I watched her as she read it and maddened. She crumpled it back up and handed it back to me. I threw it back into my bag.
We started walking towards our class. It seemed like we both wanted to say something. I didn’t know what to do. We finally arrived at class and nobody else was there. Well, a few people. The nerds. We scooted to the back and found our seats.
“When do you have to do it by?” she asked.
“I have a week,” I answered.
“Good. That means we have a week to plan some way to get back at her,” Amy smiled.
“Alright. Any suggestions?”
“You could steal her boyfriend again?”
“That’s not a bad idea. Maybe I will do that,” I laughed.
“You know what; I don’t think I have seen him around at all this year.”
“Oh, he’s coming back today. I overheard Natalia talking about how he was touring a few colleges because they want him for a Soccer scholarship.”
“Well, at least she will be focused on him the whole time. Maybe, she’ll forget about you now that he is back?”
“Doubtful. Now that he’s back, she will be extra on-edge about me. Remember, notorious boyfriend stealer,” I said pointing at myself.
“Let’s stray away from that idea then,” she laughed.
“I don’t have as evil a brain as you do. I'm sorry.”
“We could find a way to get rid of the evidence?” she suggested.
“How would we do that?”
“A lot of different ways… that I can’t think of.”
“Maybe we shouldn’t do anything,” I sighed.
“No! I will not let you go through with what she is forcing you to do!” Amy shouted. “I would rather listen to Nicki Minaj than watch you do that.”
“What?” I gasped. “You wouldn’t…”
“Oh, I would,” Amy nodded. “I would be Superbassing all day.”
