The information Paige gave to us put the plan back into motion. At first, we had our doubts. We were human, of course. Then again, Paige probably wasn’t clever enough to make all of that up. We found out a little more information, though. We wanted to know why Natalia would have a reason to do all of this, and why she really told Paige. Well, Paige said that Natalia went through a really rough time in middle school. I already knew that, but kept my mouth shut. With her parents being split, she went a little haywire. The bitchy attitude came out, and her tattoo. Again, I know. Her mother told her that if she didn’t clean up her act, then she would be sent away. Of course, being Natalia, she thought that she would be sent to live with her father, who lives in luxurious Italy now. She was wrong. Her father agreed with her mother and they both concluded that she would be sent to military school.
Wow, I really hate her, but her life is really interesting. Anyway, she decided to take matters into her own hands because nobody wants to go to military school. Once high school came around, she received one more chance to change. She started with the nerds. She used her apparently “small” allowance, according to Paige, of 4,000 a week, to pay the nerds to do her homework. Ginny nodded in agreement when Paige said that. Apparently, Ginny and Paige received 5,000 a week each for their allowance. Skyler and I got, what, 30 dollars for allowance? On a good week.
Sorry, got sidetracked. Alright, back to Natalia’s True Hollywood Story… So she started to get good grades and clean up her attitude. The nerds made sure that she wasn’t excelling too much though; she didn’t want her parents to know she was cheating. Enter Steve, the smartest person in our grade. He was cocky and she didn’t like that. I mean, she was never really smart, but her grades showed that she was. She got mad that the nerds didn’t make her the smartest and it was already too late to catch up to Steve.
She then vowed to take him down. She decided to challenge him to run for President. I do remember that, my two least favorite people battling it out. Steve accepted but could see through her completely, remember he was smart. He knew she wasn’t. He knew that she paid the nerds, so he made her promise to not involve money in this election. She reluctantly agreed. The race went on and he was in the lead. Everyone loved him for some odd reason. She didn’t like that, so she broke the promise and used her money to pay the guy who counted the votes to stuff in a bunch of votes with her name. She eventually won. Amy and I didn’t vote, since it was the people we didn’t like who were running. It made sense to us though, since if I would have voted, I would have probably chosen her. Steve knew that she cheated, but probably didn’t care since he was hot and smart. He had all he needed, and so did Natalia. She felt empty though, because she realized that if she didn’t do that then he would have kicked her ass.
Now, she told Paige all of this because Paige was her so called “best friend”. Even though it was for insurance that their parents would get together, she did keep her best friend vows. Well, until she stole Paige’s crush. Paige didn’t say this, but all of us knew the real reason was because Paige had no friends. Well, no REAL friends. She had to pay anyone to hang out with her because no offense, but her personality really sucked. I can see some improvement, though. Anyways, Natalia knew that Paige would be loyal, because if Paige stepped out of line and told someone then she would drop her in an instant, forcing Paige to be alone. She kind of ended up doing that anyway once Paige’s father picked Ginny’s mother, and then stole Zach.
We still couldn’t do anything. We had no evidence. All we had were Paige’s words, and that won’t hold up. If we were to tell someone, then it would just be disproven because of Natalia’s perfect image. Natalia would also bring up the fact that Paige had a crush on Zach, and then they would just think it was a teenager being jealous over a boy. We had to find a way to get proof.
I lay back in my bed and stared at the ceiling. It was later that day, night to be exact, and my head hurt like a bitch. I reached for my phone that was sitting on the other end. After pressing the circle button, it revealed that the time was 6:43. Great, my parents forgot to feed me again. I sat up and went to find my pajamas. Yeah, I can walk around the house in my pajamas. And my father approves because they have mustaches on them. He says it is really manly. Manjamas, or something. I slipped them on and slipped out of the room.
