RYU P.O.V.

"Oi! Ryu!" I felt a slight sting on my right cheek and I slowly opened my eyes. "Haru! Don't hit Ryu-kun!" I had to blink a few times before my vision was able to adjust to the lighting of the white room. "Ryu-san?" Violet hair tickled my nose as it crinkled. "Hm? Wendy?" I watched as her hazel eyes glimmered. "He's awake! Sora-san, please inform the master!" Sora reluctantly flew off at maximum speed and I only saw a blur of grey fur. When the sound of sniffles reached my enhanced hearing I turned to see Izumi, Haru, Kazu, and Akira. "What happe- Haru, why are you crying?" "Fuck off, Ryu. I'm not crying. There's just dust in my eyes." "Haru! Don't be so rude!" exclaimed Akira while her right hand smacked the back of his head. Ouch, I think she shook his brain.

I looked  down into my hands and the Fairy Tail insignia caught my attention. Gold. Blonde. Where was Lucy? Why wasn't she in the infirmary? "Guys, where's Luce?" I took notice of how they all shifted their gazes. Silence filled the room and Wendy cleared her throat. "Ryu-san, I need you to stay calm." Stay calm? I felt my eyes widen as terrible thoughts filled my mind. "Lucy-san is in the Dragon Realm with Celestia-san, all of the exceeds are there as well. Except for Sora-san." I felt air return to my lungs, "Oh." But Wendy still looked uncomfortable, "She still hasn't woken up, there is a chance she never will. That's what Grandine told me." My world crumbled once those words left her mouth. "What happened?"

"Do you remember anything, Ryu-san?"

Stab.

I moved my hands to my stomach, the blade had completely cut through me. "Why am I still alive?" "She gave her life in exchange for yours. That is what the Celestial King told us." I felt tears form but the sadness was quickly replaced by anger. I grabbed the IV line that had been connected to my vein and yanked the needle out. "Ryu-san you musn't do that! You can harm yourself!" I ignored the violet haired girls frantic words as I threw the sheets off of my body. I placed my feet onto the cold floor that reeked of disinfectant. When I was going to stand I felt a twinge of pain and someone stood before me. "Kazuki. Let me go see her." He slightly flinched.

"You can see her when you've completely healed. Seeing her now will only make you suffer. Take my word for it." "Suffer?! I'm suffering right now! What do y-" "DON'T THINK ITS JUST YOU! Everyone is suffering..." Akira held her head in her hands. The room once again fell silent after her sudden outburst. I adjusted myself onto the bed once more. "You're right. I'm sorry." If they don't want me to see her... What state is she in? "Wait, is anyone with her right now?" "...Yeah, Natsu-kun and his team are with her." responded Izumi quietly.

"What? Why are they with her?" "Apparently Lu-Lu kept mumbling their names. Celestia-sama said she would inform us if anything new happens." A sad smile formed on her lips. "The people Lu-Lu needs right now is them. Not us. So we aren't in a position to oppose. Its for her health." The smile began to tremble. "I just wish we could do something for her. After all, she was there for us when we needed it most." I decided to try and change the topic and asked, "What happened to Taiga and them?" "The magic council arrived but the Celestial Spirit King appeared after Lucy-san collapsed and finished things off. They are all in the hands of Magic Council." "What did they decide?" "Ryu-kun, only members of the Magic Council would be able to respond. It seems you've opened your wound. Lie down please, I'll use healing magic." "Why are you so calm about this, Wendy?" "Ryu!" exclaimed Akira. Shit. It slipped out. She turned to face me slowly. I couldn't define her facial expression, until it twisted into an angry scowl that is. "Why am I calm? Who said I was? Lucy-san is far away from here and I want to be by her side. But I can't because I have to be here and treat you. The only reason I'm doing this is because Lucy-san cares about you and when she wakes up I don't her to be angry at me. I would much rather be next her and performing healing magic on her, don't you dare think even for a moment that I am calm about this situation. Now if you could please keep your mouth shut until I finish." The tension in the room grew as silence once again filled the air.

I just wish I could have saved her. Why did she sacrifice herself for me? That wasn't the point. Damn it, Luce. Can't you see how this is affecting everyone? You need to open your eyes. Please. We all need you.

A pair of eyes snapped open exposing two chocolate brown orbs.

A/N: Here is the new update! I really hope you guys like it and I'm just sorry it took so long to be published. I'll be updating my two other stories as well, so keep your eyes out for it!

The new Fairy Tail chapters are making me go insane. I want our Gray-sama back to normal and for NaLu to be canon already Trollshima. T_T

Nonetheless I can't wait for the next chapter and to see where this arc takes us. Fairy Tail is definitely my favourite Manga and I'm going to start watching the anime again once the Sun Village arc starts.
