LUCY'S P.O.V.

What's moving? "Luce c'mon get up or we're gonna be late!!" I opened my eyes and saw Ryu."Okay I'm up! Where'd everyone else go?" "Oh they left a while ago they said they were going to walk there so I decided I'd wake you up and you could teleport us there." "Aw Ryu~ You stayed with me!" "W-what are you talking about Luce? Look just hurry up or we'll be late and you don't wanna be late do you?" Guess its time to re-quip since it'll take too long to go through my closet. "Alright, alright." "Then go get your clothes!" I stood up and re-quiped into black shorts with a gray tube top with gray thigh length socks and black shoes. "There done." "Wha- since when can you do that?!" "I've always been able to do it. I just normally use it to change my weapons mostly my whips but I can re-quip clothing as well. I can use every type of magic remember Ri~" An angry chip appeared on his head "I said don't call me that! Let's go!" "Wait! My hair." I brushed my hair and looked at my left eye. "Don't start thinking about your eye Luce, I told you it looks nice." "Arigatou Ryu." I grabbed his hand and closed my eyes and pictured the arena.

When my eyes opened I saw my team. "Oh hey guys I thought you wouldn't make it. Oh by the way Kaami said that they were going with Charla and the others again." "Okay. Now pay attention there will be another event and one of you will be going, do not use the full extent of your magic if not needed. If anything goes wrong I'll heal you but you should all be able to defeat everyone here. Good luck as well." "We will do our best." "Let's go sit, its going to start any second now." Once we sat down Mato went to the center of the arena.

"Today's event will be called Airè. You will be fighting in the air, there will be invisible platforms, you will fight there. There is a chance that you will fall off so watch your step! The last one standing wins! The participants are: Gray, Minerva, Ryu, Miliana, Eve, Yuka, Kurohebi, and Nobarly!" Ryu's up. Damn so is Minerva! I hope he can beat her... "Ryu its your turn man, make us proud!" Exclaimed Kazuki. "Make Lulu proud is what he means to say." whispered Akira. "Ne, Aki did you say something?" "N-nothing Lulu! Just encouraging Ryu here to do his best!" Akira replied shakily whilst hiding behind Haru. I turned serious. "Ryu, Minerva is a very powerful opponent, I speak from personal experience. Please be careful if you fight her. Besides her there are no other opponents to worry about. I've talked to you about Gray's Ice-make already. Good luck and do your best." He nodded an replied "Don't worry Luce, I'll be fine. Thanks but I gotta go win!" I watched him run off to the arena. "You have 15 minutes. Start, Kapo!" With that the event began.

Miliana charged forward and threw off Nobarly. Then she went to attack Yuka. Before she could do that Kurohebi attacked her and Yuka attacked him. Miliana was able to grab Yuka along with her while she fell. That removed 4 participants already. Eve tried to attack Gray with his white fang whilst Gray easily blocked it. Gray then chanted "Ice-make hammer!" A giant hammer made of ice appeared and he swung it at Eve whom was caught off guard to lose his footing and fall taking him out of the event. "Now its only Gray, Minerva, and Ryu..." I mumbled.

"Should I let you two fight each other or take you both out at once?" "I say we all fight and let's see who wins." stated Gray. "Fine with me. I'll defeat both of you." said Ryu. "You defeat me? Please your pathetic blonde friend was no match for me. I'm sure you're trash just like her." "Don't talk about Lucy like that!" exclaimed Ryu. "Oh? Did I hit a nerve? I believe you are both her guild mates correct? I'm sure she wouldn't like seeing the two of you suffer." "Like he said, don't be bad mouthing Lucy. Don't insult my family right in front of me and expect me to let you get away with it." said Gray putting one of his fists and one of his palms together ready to use his magic. Gray... "She just wasn't able to defend herself. You almost killed her while you knew she wouldn't be a challenge for you." he continued. Right he also believes I'm still weak. "Oi, I'm sure she would have no trouble in kicking her ass and yours right now, don't say she's weak." said Ryu. "But she is." Gray and Minerva both said that.

Ouch. That stung. "Uh-oh Ryu-san is getting angry. Lulu-san this might be bad. Maybe you should try to calm him down." said Izumi. "Nah let him teach that ice freak a lesson on insulting our Lu." commented Haru. "I said don't call her weak damn it!" "Ice-make: cannon!" A cannon made of ice appeared and was fired twice once at Minerva and the other at Ryu. Minerva easily dispelled it. Ryu moved to the side in time to block the attack. Minerva chanted "Ih Ragdo!" which enveloped Gray restricting his movements. "Water Dragon ROAR!" a blast of water struck the unsuspecting Minerva causing her to stumble backwards releasing Gray. "A dragon slayer eh? A water one for that matter." "Ice-make: Cage!" with this he trapped Minerva inside before casting "Ice-make: shotgu-" "Water Dragon's talon!" Ryu attacked Gray before he could complete his spell. "Ice-make: Floor!" With that Gray froze the ground.

I smirked. Ryu could easily defeat Gray. "Why is my ice melting?" "Because Ice is made of water. I can control water so you are no match for me Gray. Water Dragon's wing attack! Water Dragon's iron fist! Water Dragon's claw!" Ryu's three attacks hit him head on causing Gray to fall into a state of unconsciousness. With Gray's defeat Minerva was now free. She teleported behind Ryu kicking his back the proceeding to perform Ygdo Rigora causing a powerful blast to hit Ryu. I saw him fall to the floor after receiving more attacks from the sadistic Minerva. I jumped up from my seat "RYU!" I gripped the hem of my skirt until my knuckles turned white. "Ryu of Fairy Tail B is down! Minerva of Sabertooth wins!" This is almost exactly what happened to me. Damn it! When he finished his announcement I sprang forward jumping over the railing of our viewing area and ran to where he was.

I sat on my knees on the floor next to his unconscious body. I had to use my healing magic. "Oh so you can heal now? I knew he was as weak as you. It was a pleasure to see him suffer." I felt hot tears of anger run down my face. "Oh your crying how pathetic." I saw Wendy approaching with Chelia and my team mates. "Please heal him." "Yes Lucy-san!" They said in unision. I turned to face Minerva not bothering to wipe my tears. "You made the wrong decision to hurt my family. I'll make you pay for this you sadistic bitch." One of her eyebrows shot up "Oh? You'll make me pay for this? With the help of whom?" "With our help." I turned to see Kazuki, Haruto, Akira, and Izumi behind me. "Please, if your all as weak as he was it none of you will have the chance to beat me." Akira spoke up "That's the thing. We won't defeat you. Lulu will defeat you on her own. You'll suffer for hurting Ryu like this. We're family and we will get revenge." "Prepare yourselves Minerva. I'm coming after you, but my family will hunt down the rest of your team and take them down one by one." With that I turned around to face Wendy.

"Wendy, he'll be fine. Thank you and Chelia for your help, I can take it from here." "Lucy-san what are you talking about?""Angelic Healing" when I chanted this my guild mark turned pink as a sign that I was using magic while my covered left eye turned white. My hands began to glow. I reached Ryu's torso and placed my hands on his chest. His bruises and cuts began to heal. In a matter of minutes his features turned back to normal. "Haru, Kazuki take him to the infirmary to rest. He'll be out for a few hours but his wounds have healed. He'll be fine in a few days." I said with a smile. I saw Ryu open his eyes and I enveloped him in a hug. "You scared me Ryu." "I'm sorry Luce. I'm sorry I couldn't beat her..." "Shhh. Rest up okay I need you to get better quickly." I heard him hum out an mhm before closing his eyes again.

Haru and Kazu each grabbed one of his arms and slung it around their shoulders and carried him away. "Wow Lucy-san you can heal now!" "Yes I can Wendy. Now let's go back to our spots the battles will start soon." She nodded and we all walked away. When I was about to sit down a certain gray colored exceed ran into me. "Lucyyyy! Is Ryu going to be okay okay?" He asked between sobs. I pat his head "Yes Sora, Ryu will be fine why don't you go see him?" "Your right Lushy! I'll go see him right now!" With that he flew out the door. The battle winners were Orga, Jura, Laxus, and Izumi. By the end of the second day we were still in the lead.

During this day Lucy had no idea that a certain Fire Dragon Slayer was watching her every move. Not wanting to take his eyes off of her beauty for even a second. He endured four years without seeing her. He wasn't about to lose sight of her again. Without her he wasn't complete.
