Kylie's POV

"Hey, Val. Are you okay?" I asked her while we were heading to the elevator. She was just there walking with me but not talking. We entered the elevator and I pressed pent, "Val, what is it? Please talk to me." I asked again and held her hands. "Is your full name, Kylie J. Stewart?" She asked. "Yeah. Why?" I asked. "You're a freakin' director and millionaire for pete's sake. If people see us around they'll spread rumours and shit about you because of me!" She explained.

The elevator opened and I led her to my office. "Oh so that's why we were seated in a booth away from people at Dione's, and the empty parking lot." She said. "Does that matter to you? Does anything that I have affect what we have?" I asked. "Yes! I am just a freelance photographer and an editor for a magazine. I don't fit into any of what you have." She replied. Why is she thinking of herself this way?

Valerie's POV

I was so dumbfounded with all this information. I was lost in my thoughts yet again. "Well, if you think that what you do for a living would affect my life with you, then you're thinking wrong. I don't care if people would think that I'm crazy for loving you instead of celebrities and or other directors like how the world expects it to be." She explained. "Wait, "loving you"? You love me?" I asked for confirmation. "I do. I've fallen. I know that it has just been literally a couple of days but yes. Valerie Hofstetter, I am truly madly crazy in love and euphoria with you!" She answered doubtlessly.

I didn't know what to say. I was so overwhelmed with all the information and feelings that kept on coming. Am I dreaming again? This beautiful stranger that I've met literally just 2 days ago have fallen in love with a damsel in distress as she calls me. I am nothing compared to who she is and I don't want to end up being alone again after all of this. I felt a tight consoling hug. She caressed my face with both her hands and my eyes met her natural teal eyes, "You are worth a lot more than nothing to me." She said and hugged me then after wiping my tears away.

Kylie's POV

"Kyle?" She called in a soft voice. "Yeah?" I matched her tone. "I think I am in love with you too." She said ever so softly but I wanted to hear it again. "Sorry what did you say?" I asked. "I said I think I am in love with you too." She said clearly now but still in a soft voice. "Say, what?" I teased. "Kylie J. Stewart, I am in love with you too!" She said loud and clear.

Then the phone on my desk rang, I answered it in speaker. "Congratulations, Big Sis! This calls for a celebration." Gabby's voice spoke thru the phone. I saw the confusion in Val's eyes. "Look up, lovebirds." Gabby chuckled. We both did and saw the cctv camera nod at us. "Chief? Will you be joining us for the last callback?" Stace's voice was now speaking thru the phone. "You're all listening and watching?" I asked. "Yes, Direct Kyle." Direct Pao's voice spoke thru as well.

"Y'all better be giving me great results when I get there." I ordered. "Yes Chief!" They answered in unison. "Damn. I gotta have that cctv system removed from my office." I said. "You better." Val agreed and winked at me. "Let's go." I held Val's hand and we walked to the elevator.
