"hey losers" brinnley greeted the boys as she walked into the studio where they had officially started recording their parts for the song they'd been working on.

"that was rude" jack frowned crossing his arms while he sat on the couch.

"yeah walk back into that hallway and try again, but be nice this time" daniel suggested.

brinnley nodded and walked out of the room before walking back in. "hello dumbfucks what are we doing today?"

"how did it manage to get worse..." corbyn tilted his head at the girl who had an innocent smile on her face.

"you're such a bully i hope you're aware of this" jonah told her.

before brinnley could reply, she was thrown off when a pair of arms wrapped around her waist from behind and spun her around in a mini circle before having her face them.

once she was less dizzy and disoriented she made eye contact with zach. zach had been in the booth recording, but once he noticed brinnley walk in he quickly ran over to her.

"oh thank god you're finally here, these four have been getting on my nerves all day" zach informed the brunette.

"we have not!" daniel quickly defended himself. "all we said was you miss your girlfriend"

brinnley's eyebrows raised at daniel's choice of words. "wait how would y'all even know that? we didn't tell you yet"

"well we didn't know" jack said confusing brinnley. "we were joking around but zach's face when we said girlfriend gave it all away"

"and you just officially confirmed it for us thank you" jonah smiled at her.

"but you just said-"

"we didn't ask zach directly because we knew he'd lie about it so we waited until you got here" corbyn explained.

"i hate you all" zach said as he rolled his eyes.

"mhm sure, now tell us all the glory details" daniel said eagerly as the rest of the boys agreed.

"y'all sound like the girls when i told them zach asked me out" brinnley laughed. "also clara and evelyn want to kill you because you didn't tell them about it"

zach huffed, "yeah i know clara's been threatening me since we got back from hawaii"

"hello?" jonah interjected making the pair look towards the four boys. "we're waiting"

zach shrugged, "i asked her out on new year's after the ball dropped by taking her to the beach since that's where i started to like her"

"oh that's why y'all skipped out so fast" corbyn realized. "and why we couldn't find lav"

"zach pulled me out of the room mad fast i couldn't even give her back to jack" brinnley recollected. "but i had her decide if i should tell zach yes or not"

"lav wouldn't have said yes, so you disobeyed her" jack furrowed his eyebrows.

"jack shut up she loves me" zach protested.

"no she wasn't 100 percent all in on the idea" brinnley joked as she soon received a glare from zach. "okay i'll stop"

"well y'all were gone for a long time, please don't tell me you made out in front of the baby" daniel pleaded.

"no! of course not!" the two said in unison quickly debunking daniel's statement.

"we walked around for a while and talked as we watched the sun come up" brinnley told them.

"living that 'what am i' life i see huh" corbyn joked which no one found funny. "y'all are mean"

"it just- it wasn't funny" jonah shook his head.

"shut up i hate you all" corbyn fake cried.
