"why are y'all making me do this i don't want to do this" brinnley whined as kate, amara, clara, evelyn, and clara's friend (jess), all pushed brinnley out the door.

"because you have yet to drive your new car and you are going to drive it" amara told her. "it's been sitting in the driveway since your birthday"

"okay i'll drive it, but not to school, people are going to look at me and try talking to me about it" brinnley complained.

"if we don't make you drive the car to school you will never drive it" evelyn stated folding her arms.

"that's not true" brinnley said.

"oh it is soo true" jess told her.

"you will come up with a million excuses as to why you can't drive the car anywhere" kate mentioned.

"so today you are driving all of us to school, in your new fancy car okay? okay" clara said as all the girls got into brinnley's car while brinnley whined.

as brinnley drove to school she complained and panicked the whole ride at the dismay of the rest of the girls who were just trying to enjoy the ride.

once they got there all of the girls minus brinnley exited the car. brinnley didn't want to move and see everyone look at her and her car. amara then opened brinnley's door and evelyn yanked the girl out of the front seat while kate grabbed her bag.

"guys no people are staring at me" brinnley said as the group of girls walked off.

"no duh, you just pulled up to a high school in a tesla" clara pointed out. "even though we live in los angeles where everyone has a tesla"

"they were bound to stare" jess informed her. "people get shocked by it when it's someone they know"

"clara and jess shut up because you aren't helping the situation" amara told the two who quickly listened.

"is that your car brinnley?" a random girl asked causing the girl to nod.

everyone around her started whispering to one another instantly which made brinnley nervous, she didn't like people talking about her at all, the girls noticed the change in brinnley's demeanor, it went from bad to worse really quickly.

soon a similar group of teens came up to brinnley stopping them from entering the school.

"oh my gosh do y'all ever not walk around together, like y'all are always together, it's weird" jess said rolling her eyes.

"shut up freshman" maya said to her.

"sophomore, but nice try with that old 'oh ew a freshman' thing. how about we get some new material though" jess replied.

maya scoffed and rolled her eyes turning around back to face brinnley who was not making eye contact with anyone around her.

"so brinnley!" ella said perkily. "we heard that the tesla in the lot over there is yours. is that true?"

"we literally just got here how did you even find out about the tesla being here?" kate asked annoyed.

"i'm literally no talking to you kate i'm talking to brinnley" ella replied. "is the tesla yours brinnley?"

"um yeah it is, i got it for my birthday" brinnley said eyeing the ground not making eye contact.

"so who bought you that car?" xander asked. "cause there is no way in hell you bought it for yourself"

"she doesn't have to tell you where she got it, when she got it, or who she got it from, it is none of your business so back off" evelyn stated.

"it's literally just a question evelyn, we just want to know who she got it from" ashton chimed in.
